NIFT Jodhpur Gallery

To be honest, given the location of my campus, the social life is close to non-existent. The Student council does arrange for events on the campus during the festivals and otherwise too, and the cafe scene in the city is pretty good too, but otherwise, it's a bit below average. NIFT has it's annual event, Spectrum, which is held in the beginning of the year. Along with that, the other colleges and universities nearby also host their fests around the same time. There's also Converge, which is held towards the end of the year, and that's where all the participants from all NIFT campuses meet and compete in different sports and competitions.So, that's that. There are also some bars and clubs around, but I don't really trust the crowd. As for the library, it has a pretty good collection of books. It has almost all the books you'd need, and it's very rare for me to not find a book there. The classrooms have projectors and TV screens for display, but there are no speakers, so that is something we need to arrange for if we need it for certain presentations. Additionally, the IT lab is also well equipped, with the adequate softwares and tools needed. The stationery shop on campus tho, had been shut for a while, and also very small to accomodate the students, so there were problems with that, but that seems to have been sorted for now, but i'm not very sure. The hostel also has a gym, but the equipment is apparently all damaged, or not enough, so that's quite an issue. There's a basketball, football and volleyball court, which are used very often, and they seem to be in good condition. There are also different clubs in the college, and they oversee the student activities and events and problems and all.

The campus life is very happening since each and every event is celebrated, but there is no interference with the academics. There are books on various genres in the library, but 75% of the books are related to the courses we study. There are various clubs in our campus like the cultural club, sports club, literary club, environments club and ethics and social service club, all run by the students of the campus.

There are a lot of events that takes place in the college. All the students from different regions and religion come together and celebrate all the festivals together. Apart from that there is also one major event that is held every year... Name of the event is "SPECTRUM" Where the major highlight is the fashion show. The classrooms are well arranged with the top class machinery required by different departments of the college.

Spectrum was conducted annually and many other small-level events were organized weakly. Classrooms have ac and projectors with speakers, For sports all equipment was provided by the college and a gym and many courts were there. Page of Nift on Instagram- Niftjodh official.

The campus was good enough for every activity, infrastructure was also good. We have so my social clubs there as an extracurricular activity. Even we have extra subjects like dance, singing, drama, theater, etc. We were also having personality development classes. For a better personality and amazing communication.

There are many clubs in the college. Almost all of the sports clubs are present. There is an annual fest where different NIFT campuses compete with each other in sports. There are other clubs as well that organise events annually.

My college organizes all the events for the purpose of extra curricular activities. every year a sports event is held- Converge the Sports and Cultural National Meet of NIFT. where all the students be it male or female are allowed to participate equally. there is no discrimination here based on gender roles.

However there are more of females then males here, but that is because of the interest of females in fashion. otherwise there is no discrimination regarding gender. everyone is treated equally on every basis. my college provides enough opportunities for the students to participate in various forms of extra circular activities hence the students try there best to perform. various workshops related to fashion is been organised and i am the best experience here in my college.

Newly created Fitness centre is made open for students at the minimum fees. Students can use the gym in batches separate for girls and boys. NIFT facilitate resource centre contain vital fashion information of the Institute and the Apparel Industry of the region. NIFT Resource center act as catalyst, both for the academicians and the practicing fashion professionals in the industry .

Actually these extra curricular activities made me a versatile person because the event organizing part is made through the students by which i can improve my inter-personal skills.Therefore it is a best opportunity for me to self-mold.
