The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) has announced the withdrawal date for NIFT Admissions 2023. Candidates who want to withdraw their seats will be able to do so by July 4, 2023 (11.59 PM).

NIFT New Delhi: The NIFT Admissions 2023 last date of withdrawal has been announced by the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT). Candidates who wish to cancel or withdraw their admission seats can do so until July 4, 2023, at 11.59 pm.

As per the notification from NIFT, candidates who withdraw their admission seats on or before July 4 will receive a full refund of the fee, with the deduction of the registration fees. On the other hand, if candidates choose to withdraw their admission seats after July 4, 2023, (11.59 PM), the entire fee will be forfeited, and only the Security Deposit will be refunded.

It is important to note that failure to make the admission payment will result in the cancellation of the candidate's seat, which will then be allocated to the next candidate in the order of merit. The institute considers various factors such as merit rank, seat availability, and chosen preferences during the choice filling process while allotting seats.

Recently, on June 15, 2023, the institute made the final release of seat allotment for NIFT 2023. To secure their seats, candidates were required to log in, enter their email id and password, and complete the payment of the prescribed fee by June 20 (11.59 PM).

The seat acceptance fee for NIFT 2023 amounts to INR 1,83,200. Candidates who have been allocated seats in any of the three rounds of seat allotment have the option to withdraw from the admission process until July 4, 2023 (11.59 PM).

Further, the candidates who withdraw their seats will not be considered for seat allotment in the following rounds. Once the seat allotment results for the final round of counselling have been announced, there will be no further option to withdraw the allocated seat.

NIFT 2023 Seat Withdrawal Process

To initiate the withdrawal process, candidates must complete the following TWO steps:

Upon confirmation, the allotted seat will be cancelled , and the candidate will no longer be eligible for seat allotment in subsequent rounds. Furthermore, the seat acceptance fee will be refunded to the candidate.
