I liked the size the University in with uid is located is very biflg

I chose uid because of its high level infrastructure and amenities.the faculty was also highly qualified which made it my 3rd preference right behind nid and uceed unfortunately due to circumstances I wast able to prepare a lot before the nid and uceed exams thus did not get in .I got a confirmed admission from iiad which was my fail safe in case my portfolio was not up to par the uid standerds

Admission:

There are 3 stage process of admission. First it is written test. Once we get selected from 1st stage then come situation test and interview. Situation test is basically we need to make a 3d model or something in the given time limit. And then there is interview rounds and portfolio checking. Then we get admission detail on getting selected.

The only good thing about this college is it keeps updating itself to match the current scenario
The infrastructure is quite nice, The labs are good too. The canteen food is also tasty and worth paying ..I recommend Honey chilli potato of Clockwise

Admission:

I applied to ISDI,MIT ADT,Pearl Acadeamy,Rubika,MIT ujjain other than UID....and also got the offer letter from all trhe institutes ...but why i chose UID over all was the thought that UID is more heard of than the rest of them and it is also away from home ,,,it is just because of the awesome marketing of the college...Even my institue where I went to prepare for NID were promoting UID ...at that time i thought it is a really reputed college ...but at the end its all business

Location of the clg is v odd as most of the shops are present 7 kms away

Admission:

I applied for mit National institute of design And IIT I got into Cept ahm but Preferred this clg as it's curriculum was better Uid is a old design clg making it better in terms of placement and faculty knowledge

All the faculties and the overall academics is great, the human needs change every day, and a designer has to adapt to that change, so new ideas and creative thinking are added according to the changes that happen with the human centric products

Phase 1- Registration and Submission of Application

Visit the official website of the college at: https://uid.edu.in/
Go to the Admission section at: https://admissions.uid.edu.in/
Register yourself by filling in basic details including name, email ID, phone no., campus, course and specialization, etc.
Once successfully registered, sign in using your email ID and password and fill out the application form.
Pay the registration fee and submit your form.

Note: The registration fee for Indian students is INR 2,000 while for NRI or Foreign students, it is INR 3,000.

Phase 2- UID Entrance Exam (UID DAT)

Admission to UID courses happens through the Design Aptitude Test (DAT).
UID Entrance Exam includes questions related to General IQ, reasoning, etc.

Phase 3- Situation Test (ST) and Portfolio Evaluation (PT)

After clearing the UID DAT, students must take the Situation Test and Portfolio Evaluation.

Note: The final selection letter is released by the college after a review of the candidate’s application forms, necessary documents, Situation Test and Portfolio Evaluation.

Candidate must have a 10+2 pass/appearing (Any Stream) from any recognized higher secondary board with a minimum of 50% marks. The fee per year for the BFA Hons course is INR 3 lakhs at the UID Ahmedabad. Both online and offline applications are accepted by the institute.

The total fees for 4-years B.Des is INR 22 lakhs, you need to pay them every semester i.e you can pay them in 8 installments.
