Likes
- The atmosphere inside NIFT is very open and accepting in many fields that are considered a "taboo" in our society, like sexuality, gender identity and other aspects of Individuality, which I think is absolutely Amazing!
- NIFT makes a conscious effort to always promote traditional handicrafts, handlooms, artisans and fashion sustainability, which I think is wonderful!
- I also really like how the Institute establishes grounds for a secure professional life for you. Almost all my seniors are doing extremely well for themselves, career wise, and so I think NIFT really does set you up for your professional life.
Dislikes
- I'm not sure if this is campus specific or not, but regardless. Creativity is encouraged but also limited to the understanding of the judge. It's almost impossible to go beyond the limit set by them.
- Since majority of the examinations are practical and not theoretical, scoring is difficult. The answers are subjective, so it all depends on how well you can defend your presentation and how well the panel understands you.
- Again, since the scoring is done on subjective presentations, scoring depends on your ability to defend your work and also, how well you get along with your faculty.
Internships Opportunities:
I'm not very sure about this, but I do know that some of my seniors have interned at Tarun Tahiliani, NorBlackNorWhite, and other big designers. Another senior also interned with at the Ambani Wedding, and styled Gauri Khan and Suhana Khan and other A listers.
There's a lot of diversity in my field, so the roles offered are just as vast.

- The hostels are situated within the campus which benefits the students as they can connect with the other students.
- The mess and the canteen provide us good and tasty food. The labs and classrooms are top-notch.
Dislikes
- The campus happens to be 25 kilometers from the Jodhpur city so the campus to city travel is that of 40 - 45 minutes.
Internships Opportunities:
There are many well-known labels or brands that offer internship and employment opportunities to the students like Vaishali S, Sabhyasachi, Lifestyle, Godrej, Bombay Dyeing, HnM, Manish Malhotra, etc. The stipend varies from 20000 to 40000 per month

- The college campus is really neat and clean.
- A lot of social activities are done which are really good for the personal growth of the students.
- The curriculum is wholly practical based which gives the best knowledge.
Dislikes
- If you get selected by one company in placements you are not allowed to sit for another brand.
- There are a lot of assignments which helps but also feels hectic for the students.
- There is no air conditioners, common room and microwave in boys hostels yet. They are provided with coolers instead.

Internships Opportunities:
There are two internships that are the part of the curriculum.
The first one is held after the sixth semester as a two months summer internship.
The second one is of 4 months which is done during the eighth semester.
In both case some students are hired by the companies through college interviews. Otherwise mostly you yourself apply to your desired brand or designer with the name of your college mentioned.

- Course teaches many rhings related opening our own brand
- Very big campus allows to do any thing in campus
Dislikes
- Temperature and heat of jodhpur is very bad
- Students and their behavior is not at all friendly
- Collage campus is far away from the main city
Internships Opportunities:
Companies like Shahi Export,
Vamani overseas.
Cheer Sagar, Arvind, pee empro and Paramount, etc. Provide internship in retail and production in the apparel industry
In retail, we have to work as merchandisers, and in products, we have to be on the floor to check the production.

- There scholarship system was really bad they don't even inform that the firm's are online
- There students were nerd they are really selfish specially Nikita
Internships Opportunities:
It was provided by the college only, we have given some contact details of people from different companies from our college but some of us have joined on our own. The internship was for 1 month and we have done its work from home as it was COVID time.

Internships Opportunities:
I have not done any internship yet but what I know from seniors is that we start doing internships from the third year. Some are paid and some unpaid. They are a great learning experience for us. If we are unable to find an internship, the college helps us find one.

There are many Designers from NIFT who have done great with there career or are doing great. Students of my college have great placement opportunities and even in the first placement year of NIFT- Jodhpur i.e in 2014 the placement was 100%
here we get amazing opportunities and exposure hence the the placement opportunities are also high.

Every year, Our college Schedule Placement Dates for the passing students to be placed directly from the college and the opportunities are well enough. for the students to be placed. but its not just about the college placement capability. a student should be capable enough to be placed. otherwise the placement opportunity is great.

The college has placement in reputed companies like large retailers, brand marketers, manufacturers, consultancy organizations, e-retailer, textile mills, home furnishing companies, design BPO's, technology solution providers, and large apparel manufacturing companies along with international brands etc enable students to start their careers in challenging positions.

The placements they provide are in a most effective manner.Companies like Amazon, Myntra, Raymond, will be offering placements to students which will result in the best opportunities to work with such brands.The average salary package will be 10 LPA.
