Sri Guru Gobind Singh College Chandigarh Faculty

The faculty to student ratio is very hard for me to know. But the faculty is ready to help at every point to the student. I don't like the library incharge as he is so rude to everyone. There are total of 8 exams in the first semester for the students. These exams are not very difficult but definitely not easy. Many students fail in the exam but clear it by giving it for re-checking.

Our college members are very good, they take care of all the work. This college has many courses like BA, BCA, BSc etc. The Ba course is of 4 years. There are two exams in the Ba course, once in December and once in May.

The faulty to student ratio ig its 1:10 but idk the exact ratio here and i like manbir kaur ma'am because she is very good ma'am and maintains the class very well she is the best I like every faculty member i don't dislike anyone There are 4 exams yearly 2 exams semester 2 exams mid semester

I found our faculty little unserious for student’s. The numbers of faculty members are very less compare to students. But most of my teachers are very good. They are really co- operating. I like Rimple mam because she really work hard to tought us. The exam systems are good but MSTs didn't take seriously by the student’s as well as teachers most of the students fail in finals beacuse results are come from universities.

There are mostly all the streams like ba , bca , pharmacy, ma , bba ,bca etc. The best facility is bca and bba because they are having seperate space which is more good then other stream classes. The exams are easy expect (it) subject.

Faculty is having very good knowledge. Very impressive teaching skills they have ...our bond is like friends with each other. They provide.paramjeet ma'am is my favourite one. In my session not any students were failed in any subjects as faculty clear our doubts time to time.

Faculty members are very nice and would help you with anything you want . They are very polite and have a positive approach towards us . As I am in masters we only have one MST before our final semester exam . MST is totally based on preparing students psychologicaly for final exams . The final exams are moderate. You can score very nice of you start studying in a month before exams . The teachers give good internals . There a very few students who won't clear the exam , because they aren't that serious towards the course or would not have studied .

:- faculty is very nice in SGGS COLLEGE in my college 1:30 is faculty to students ratio and faculty is very nice and friendly and also very helpful Prof. tajinder Singh Brar sir is HOD of commerce department and he is very nice and helping nature

Student teacher ratio is around 50:1 . Hardil sir is my favorite faculty as he is always there to support students apart from acdemics perspective .there is no such faculty that i don't like as all are quite supportive. The exams are medium to high in level

So we have 2 times exam in a year in any degree of college as we have 2 semester in one year .. The exams come after every 5 month mainly the exam is on may month and in December month and the admit card will be approved 2 weeks ago from exam .. The examination will be conducted in evening 2 to 5 p.m. it will be of 3 hours and a student can go after half time have been gone if he wants to ..there will be facilities of water the staff will arrange the water for students during the exam . The exam holds 80 marks and for passing u need 27 out of it . Total is 100 out of which 80 marks will be decided by your exam and 20 marks will be internal Internal marks are given by teachers according to ur attendence,assignments and behaviour as well and also the MST MST is important it helps u to boost your internal marks ... but the problem is most students get compartment the college give it for making money it is not good for any small heart people or people who does not have money .. They give reappear purposely
