Our college conducts functions on the occasions of special festivals very enthusiastically and they are good to go in and enjoy.
The college should work on placements but there are opportunities for scholarships if you score great on your exams
1] some aspects like my interest in the field of accounting attracts me the most to choose this curriculum 2] i learned many new things in this course especially in the accounting field like tally course.

Dislikes

I am disappointed because their placement cell is unorganised and it?? difficult to find a job after complete degree in SGGS college.
I would not recommend anyone to seeking a quality education.
The college focus more theory than the practical skills, leaving people for unprepared for real word.

Sri guru gobind singh college: More Than Just a Degree

Likes

All the teachers here are very supportive, and they clarify our doubts every time we ask them And they also support us a lot in our outside activities.
If you are interested in sports then the teachers will help you a lot And if you miss a class So if you ask, the teachers will explain it to you again in a better way but you have to focus
The canteen here is very clean And the campus is also very good, it is open and has a lot of area where you can sit with your friends and chill in your free time

Dislikes

Elections are not liked here because elections lead to a lot of fights and quarrel It has a huge impact on our studies too
The parking here is outside and the people who provide the parking charge quite a lot.

After giving 4th semester exam Students get ready for placement interviews The package depends on your qualification and knowledge If you have scored above 80% then only you will be eligible for placement if you don't get a placement, there are many other companies outside where you can apply

My campus life.

Likes

The fee structure of the institution is very affordable.
There is variety of courses available for student to opt from
There is greenery and the knowledge teacher have is appreciate able.

Dislikes

The students are not very regular to the classes.
The building has got old and needs to be renovated
The food in canteen is not clean and no hygiene is maintained

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for placement from the 5th semester. There is internship that gets started in the 5th semester. There are companies for all around the globe that comes to give placements to the worthy students. The highest package offered is 18LPA and average package is 6LPA. Around 40% of the students get placement. My plans after getting the degree is to complete my masters from abroad and come back to India for starting a business or continuing my father's one.

This college is best forever

Likes

The cleanliness of the college washroom is good but they also neat and clean
There is a path or langar in my college every time there is any function.
I talk to all my college students from a distance

Dislikes

Because of this, work in college is late due to fees.
In college, students throw garbage at you from where they pay
The principal of the college is very strict and cannot do any wrong.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The BA course is the best in college because in some colleges there are only 5 subjects. The BA teachers are also good and understand everything really well. The exam timing is from 9 to 12 o'clock in which the students read the paper well.

Best college for studies and overall growth

Likes

I like the environment of the college and its infrastructure
The teachers are well behaved and they are very experienced
The nature of the students is also very good it also has a gurudwara in the college

Dislikes

The canteen is not much satisfying here and food quality is not that much ok
There must bhi a ctu bus running every time from the gate of the college but it has only 2 ctu bus one in morning one ni afternoon
There must be ac also in the classrooms because of summers

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester we start getting internships I don't know every name but some are infosis tcs etc The highest package is 7lpa and lowest is 3 lpa Average is 4.5 lpa 100% of students are placed here My plans are persuing MBA after my bcom degree

I like the seperat reading room for students
I like the class rooms. Which are too good
I like the labs and cleanliness of college

Dislikes

I dislike the canteen of our college. Caouse very less options are available.
I dislike the sports room because there is no activity are available for students
I dislike the indiscipline of students for their class for this college has to take bold action

At the last year of semester 5-6 sem students are eligible for campus placement I didn't know which companies has visited yet. I think highest packages are for 1,00000 and minimus is for 15,000 Students must have 80% above markes for getting placements I wanna persue BED

The experience of a college life

Likes

The teacher are cooperative and very helpful
The college provides good infrastructure
College conducts different functions on different occasions

Dislikes

Some students are very hooligans and disturb others
Seniors are not much cooperative and don't help juniors
The college doesn't provide free parking service

When looking at a course curriculum, we want to see if it actually makes sense for what we are trying to learn. Relevance is about whether the content is up to date and useful in the real world. The suggestion is all cources should get equal opportunity.

Campus is very small and shops are less in the campus.

They have a very best faculty . The labs are very big and also the teachers teach us all the time in the labs as our subject is a practical learning subject . The regular seminar help us a lot and boost confidence . The environment is stress-free
The teachers are very polite while explaining anything . The very first day I experienced this . They have a very positive approach towards students and won't say or do anything that would hurt you . It's hard to except that much politeness
The campus is huge and aided with many facilities . Good canteen and also Nescafe is available. We also have a canteen in our physics department floor

Dislikes

The ratio of boys is very much as compared to girls . But still it isn't unsafe .
Many students aren't very much serious here about studies

Placement Experience:

In the beginning of semester you will be asked to join training and placement center . The placements are not that much but yes placements are given . It depends your performance throughout the course . Belonging to MSc physics the placements will be made in the last sem and when and only if you qualify the sem exam you'll be able to join . But according to personal opinion that msc physics won't get that good package and you can get better from government jobs .

Teaching way of teachers and there efforts
Staff to adresss the any sort of problems during payments or registration
Campus is good and everyone is helping here

Dislikes

Infrastructure is not at all good in classes
Washrooms are uncleaned and not taken care of sanitary pads for girls
Water tankers are also not of good condition

Placement Experience:

No placement was for students who scored below 60% marks in college. Placements were there for students who scored above 60% marks. I don't know what package the college offered them. Students get eligible after the final semester.

There are more emphasis on extra curriculum such as NCC and NSS which is required for holistic development of a student . There is need to have more digital boards for better understanding. Timings of exams are quite favourable
