My campus life.

I opted for B.Com. This course helps students to get a deep knowledge about the commerce, how a company works and how stocks work. The teaching method for Accountancy can be improved as the way the mam teaches us is not effective. Ther are exams in every 2 month and they are not very difficult.

There are many companies like TATA, Infosis, TCS, RELIANCE etc. There are several projects given to students that show there interest for the specific company and helps the company to select the particular talent that is needed for their vacant position.

The students are eligible for placement from the 5th semester. There is internship that gets started in the 5th semester. There are companies for all around the globe that comes to give placements to the worthy students. The highest package offered is 18LPA and average package is 6LPA. Around 40% of the students get placement. My plans after getting the degree is to complete my masters from abroad and come back to India for starting a business or continuing my father's one.

The course I opted for is Bachelors Of Commerce 1st year-35000 2nd year-35000 3rd year-35000 In this yearly fees, there is no admission fee, registration fee, lab fee or any other kind of fees included. This whole fees is tuition fees. There are many kinds of scholarships available in my institution for students who are physically chanllenged and do not have a strong financial background. Also the institution helps economically weaker student in getting a job along with his/her studies. Also there is a merit based scholarship for students. Students who have scored 95% and above in the 12th standard have full fees waived off, and the students scoring less than 95% but more than 90% also gets a percent of scholarship for the completion of his studies.

There are several or uncountable fests in my college. There is no week left without a fest. Almost every book of our course and other course is available in the library. Every facility that needs to be available is available in the classrooms. There are several sports and extracurricular activities available in our institution. Yes there are student-run social groups and portals for student help in the study materials.

I also applied for DAV college in sector 10, Chandigarh for BCA course and I got confirmation from the college but I was not very interested in BCA because my family background is all about commerce and not technical field. No I didn't get any rejection. The admission process for my college is easy but hard to get approval. There's a form to fill and different colleges to select. On the merit bases the list is declared for the students and that's how someone gets admission in my college.

The faculty to student ratio is very hard for me to know. But the faculty is ready to help at every point to the student. I don't like the library incharge as he is so rude to everyone. There are total of 8 exams in the first semester for the students. These exams are not very difficult but definitely not easy. Many students fail in the exam but clear it by giving it for re-checking.

The nightlife near my college compus is eye catching There are gyms, cafeterias, libraries, parks and open space. Also there are basketball courts, lawn tennis court, football court, cricket ground etc. The locality is very safe in and around my college campus at night.
