Inside the campus

I chose bachelor of commerce (hons) due to several reasons but the most important reason was that i wanted to go in accounting and finance field as i have more interest in that and from the career perspective bcom hons is the best option as it has many opportunities in the field if accounting taxation and finance. Further this curriculum provides basic knowledge about the real world in economy and accounting as how things work in real world and due to this now i have gained much knowledge about the situation of the country , country's financial and economic system, accounting system of the country and much more things which help the person in real world alot. Also the frequency and timing of exams is pretty good according to the difficulty level of exams. We get 6 months for a semester in which 3 months we have classes the next month Mid sem examinations amd the further next month for final exams . So we have plenty of time for preparing exams and completing syllabus

Many companies like infosys, chegg ,etc offer internship in this college to students and offer various roles like marketing intern , customer dealing etc. The stipend offered by the companies most of the time ranges between 20000-25000, which is more or less sufficient for a student as he gains work experience and also earns

From 5th semester onwards students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like tech mahindra, airtel, delloitte,etc visited for campus Placements. The highest package this year was 9 Lakhs. And average package this year was 6 lakhs. Near around 97% students got campus placement. After getting degree my plan is to opt for MBA in finance from a good reputed college .

The tuition fees of this course is very much affordable that almost anybody and everybody can afford this fees easily. I completed my graduation in about ?1 lakh in total including all charges and tution fees (full 3 years graduation). Scholarships for students is easily available and many students i know have already taken the scholarship and are very happy .

My overall experience with campus life has been great as our college keeps on organising annual and technical festivals like youth fest , star nights, etc. Star nights are held once in 3 months and youth fest is held once in a year. The campus library is also very much up to date , it has all the books anybody needs. The classrooms are very neat and clean provided with projectors and smart screens .

Application process of this course was quite confusing for the freshman students at the time of my admission as the elegibility criteria was only 12th class but students struggled to take admission as the admission was based on the percentage of 12th class . Due to which quota students got much more benefits as compared to general students. The average cutoff goes on to 90 percent aggregate in 12th class. And the students who got more percentage got admission through counselling list. I didnt like only thing about admission that the general students needed above 90 percentage for admission but quota students needed only above 60 Percentage so their admission was quite easy as compared to general students which is quite unfair bcz sometimes the deserving candidate doesn't gets admission because of seats acquired by quota students

The faculties in the college here are very much highly educated and knowledgeable. All the teachers are very nice and always ready to solve our doubts. They take classes regularly and ensure everyone is understanding the concepts. unlike other colleges in which teachers dont give attention to students , this college faculties give priority to students. We can interact with teachers very easily . If we have any doubt regarding something the teachers are always ready to hear our doubts
