My Review of My College

Likes

I used to like my friends and my supportive teachers who supported me till the end.
One of my favorite teacher was Sumedha mam who teach accounts to the class.

Dislikes

Playground needs a lot of improvement to enhance sports further.
College building was not properly painted.

Placement Experience:

No placement was for students who scored below 60% marks in college. Placements were there for students who scored above 60% marks. I don't know what package the college offered them. Students get eligible after the final semester.

Why to join SGGS College

Placement Experience:

The student which clears the 7th semester is eligible for campus placements. Many companies visit the campus many students get selected and many are left. The average package offered ranges from 5-6 lakh per annum.

Fun studies career together

Placement Experience:

In my session internships of 2 months was mandatory as specified in my course. Many companies visit here. Whenever recruitment drive is initiated students are called with minimum 4 copies of their resumes.

Sggs campus life

Likes

College is neat and clean .staff is well mannered and polite and supportive . Going there is fun

Internships Opportunities:

Students can apply for multiple internships offered by college like last year there was an internship offered by cyber police and many students from college participated in that internship hence selected students got role of cyber soldiers.

SGGS 26, Chandigarh - Honest Review

Likes

Decent Infrastructure, Good Faculty, easily reachable, affordable fees.

Dislikes

No Car Parking Available in the Campus. Food Options are limited.

Placement Experience:

Placements are there but it's not necessary that a science student will be placed in science field. When i was in the college, a placement was offered to students with job role of a "Salesman at ICICI Bank". My Plans are to get a master degree in specific course.

Placement Experience:

Currently, I have not applied for any placement in the college. But there are placement drives going on monthly for final year students. Further, I don't know much about the percentage and the details about how the placement drives are held.

There are a lot of big tech companies including tech mahindra which we saw in job fest and including some private banks but mostly the companies that provide us local jobs tend to give less package and other companies which want us to work in remote areas give more package so i wish package provided in local areas increase

Student's Review On Sri Guru Gobind Singh College - [SGGS], Chandigarh

Placement Experience:

There were placement fairs conducted every year where alot of companies joined. Not only the colleges students but the other students were also given a chance to grab the opportunity. Alumni meets are also held every year where known people from our college also joins. Some of the notable alumni from our college is NK Sharma who is the MLA of zirakpur and a very known personality, and A punjabi singing group known as The Landers are also from our college and various punjabi singers Like prateek mann, gurtej and others.
