Course Curriculum Overview:
Mbbs is a vast course but for those who want to pursue medicine and become a doctor, needs to clear mbss exams
Our college has cooper hospital which is very old and has good clinical exposure
We also have two big central libraries with free wifi and ac working 24/7
Exam levels are moderate for students, those who have studied very good actually use to get Amazing marks
Mbbs as a course is pretty good in this hospital.
The academics are quite good.
There are fewer faculty compared to other bmc and government medical colleges and they are less experienced too compared to Kem or Sion.
Some wonderful professors will make u fall in love with the subject and at the same time, others teach just for the sake of teaching as a part of the job.
So it's more like a self-study.
Clinics are not to be missed.
Exams are conducted as per muhs rules and timeliness.
They are quite easy to pass unless the examiner wants you to fail.
Practical exams are good going for most of us but a nightmare for some whom the examiners like to troll and show their knowledge.

After passing the final MBBS, we have to work as an intern in our hospital for one year. After the internship, we can work as medical officers in a hospital of our choice for the completion of the rural bond. After my mbbs, I plan to give NEET-PG and work as a resident.
After completing 4.5 yrs of MBBS, every student has to complete 1 yr of internship in a department he wishes to do. Most of the students appear for the NEET-PG exam to pursue post graduation while some start their job at government or private hospitals. There is a high demand for medical professionals all around the country and suddenly increased especially during this Covid era. So there is no any unemployment for doctors.
The course curriculum is divided into 9 semesters along with a 1-year internship (5½ years). There are 18 subjects with a different department in the college dedicated to each. The teachers here are really well qualified and have a lot of teaching experience. There are around 10 teaching staffs in each department. There were 2 terminal exams each 3 months. They were moderately difficult.
Speaking of medicine there is no such need and question of placement as we generally have to complete one year's internship before we get the graduation certificate and after that as well most of the MBBS graduates choose to complete post-graduation or they start off a private practice
This college is one of the best medical colleges in Maharashtra. Within short span of 5-6 years it has gained high reputation. The college is also in well reputed area of juhu. Number of patients is also high.
