- It provides ways to explore research and medicine both

- Fests are very less here inside the campus,mumbai citylife is good
- The playing /sports area is not in the college but it is in the hostel (newer ones)
- Strict attendance is required, students with low attendance are not allowed to sit in the university exams

Or can join the college/ hospital for bonding or as a junior doctor

The internship is to be practiced in the same institute of mbbs course.
Cooper hospital has good internship exposure for fresh doctors.
We got to learn a lot from simple blood collection to central line insertion.
Managing various emergencies, opd, wards, oats, etc.
It's overall a good learning experience.

We are supposed to do an internship in the hospital tied up with our college for one year. In Maharashtra, they give around 12k/month as a stipend. The Internship at Cooper can get heavy as it is a bmc run college and sees high patient inflow.

It is mandatory for every medical student to do 1 yr internship after completing MBBS degree. Student can do internship in the department he wishes to do. Generally students do their internship from the department they would like to pursue post graduation from. Students can do it by either joining with the government or private hospitals. The stipend offered by the hospitals to students is nearly 15,000 per month in Maharashtra.

yes, my college provide internship. there are various job opportunities after you completed your mbbs and internship. as i yet not completed my mbbs i don't know much about the placements and about the job opportunities.

Yes cooper provides internship. Its compulsory for every student to undergo 6 months of internship in the hospital. Other than internship the hospital also provides opportunities for medical officer jobs.

Our college does provide internship for 1 year. Though I am still in 2nd year, I can't tell much about the experience about it, but as far as I have heard, it's quite hectic in the working hours. We have to deal with patients after all we are doctors. Like I know the amount must be 6000 Rs monthly, like other colleges.
