LM Thapar School of Management, Derabassi Chandigarh MBA Finance: Fees 2026, Course Duration, Dates, Eligibility

The fee for the complete Course at Thapar School of Management for MBA program is approc=ximately 11- 12 lakhs, which includes tution fees, development fees, other charges but exxcluding Hostel fees, and mess fees. At the time of admission, I was awarded a 30% scholarship based on my merit. However the continuation and percentage of the scholarship depend on maintaining a certain CGPA each time. 1. CGPA above 9; 50% scholarship ( only for student who were awarded a scholarship at the time of admission are eligible for further scholarship) 2. CGPA 8.5 to 8.99; 30% scholarship 3. CGPA 8.0 to 8.49; 20% scholarship If the CGPA falls below 8.0, the scholarship is discontinued for the following academic year. The fee structure has remained fairly stable during my time, with no signigficant annual incerease.

I got a scholarship during the admission 2023. At LMTSM 75 students can earn scholarship based on merit in three different categories i.e. 50%, 30% & 20% tuition fee waiver. It is based on your test scores and get the confirmed scholarship for 1 year. After that based on your academic performance you can earn it again.

The year wise fees that Lm Thapar school of management takes is 7lpa including mess charges . While the total fees goes around 15 lpa like rounding off. The interviews were conducted in a very nice manner and the ones who had not appeared for any competitive exams were also eligible to prepare for the TMAT exam which is basically the lm Thapar school of managements management exam. In total there are only 200 seats available at the LM Thapar school of management and all of them were shortlisted based on the interviews that were conducted in an offline as well as an online mode. There are also the GDPIrounds that are conducted and it is a very tough competition during the interviews. For the winter internships we have to choose our own internships while for the summer internships some really good companies come over to select the students for the Summer internship program and many of them also get ppo's during the internship which is a very good part. Apart from that the highest package start lmtsm provides the candidates is continuously increase in it is American express that provides the highest package your in the finance background. The other specializations are also very good and the teachers are very professional and the way they teach The course work is very prompt and very professional and apart from that we are also given many workshops based on resume building or entrepreneurship and there are also pitching competitions and other competitions held so that we as students are good enough to complete in the world. As such there are no reservations in the campus but students cuts scholarships based on their overall academic performance and their interviews in the past years.

In this college, there are fixed fees for MBA and they provide the scholarship as in if the candidate scored the marks according to their policy then, he/she will get the scholarship and have the deduction in their fees. They provide very good jobs. Many companies come there and every year take near about 95% of students from our college. They provide great placements for students. Last year, the highest package was gone of 22 lakhs.

I paid 4 lack annually and 8 lacs for the entire course. This fee included a tuition fee, examination fee, library fee, registration fee. Hostel charges are to be separate. The mess food is pretty cheap and the cafeteria was also pretty feasible.

I got 20% scholarship on the basis of Thapar university test which held on interview day only no additional fees required for it. And then applied for education loan in Allahabad bank.
