Likes
- The campus has a good environment. The faculty is also very nice. A class comprises of 60 students which also includes sometimes group discussion.
- The department gives us opportunities for various national level ADR and moot Court competitions, which helps us to embrace our skills.
- The department also gives us opportunity to participate in various extra curricular activities. Elections are also held for various executive posts.
Dislikes
- The condition of washrooms is not good. Some hostels also require management.
- There should be more group discussions and effort should be made so that each and every student engage in different competitions.

Internships Opportunities:
The university makes compulsory for final year students to go for internship, specially in High Court or district court. The internship is for one month and there is no stipend given. But the internship experience is great. It helps a student to learn more and more about the practical life of an advocate.

- I like the surrounding like the building is in PU campus so have alot of things to explore and i gets huge exposure
- There are regular mock tournaments and ADR competitions including intra and inter department one and one is also to do alot of things if they are willing to participate
- There are also alot of co curricular activities you can take participate in
Dislikes
- Along with pros the cons are that building is not big enough so you 1st year few sections need to take their classes at HRDC building
- The canteen of UILS does not open at all so students need to go somewhere else l
- The atmosphere is a bit political so one need to be carefull
Internships Opportunities:
The UILS have good reputation in honourable Panjan and Haryana High Court as most of the lawyers out there are from UILS itself so can get help from your senior but the department itself give almost no placements as the department does not create corporate lawyers the internships are given but at very less scale so you need to do all by yourself

Likes
- Expertise of teachers, they are really profession and have the advanced knowledge about the subjects. Teachers are usually available to clear any kind of doubts.
- There are various events organised at small intervals, which are really helpful in holistic growth of a student and exposure is given through these.
- Moot court events and law fests are something which help students of law to meet fellow law students from different universities and share their knowledge with each other. It makes a student of law ready for the practical practice they are going for.
Dislikes
- The cirriculum is vast and the course structure is very tiring
- There are Mid semester tests, plus assignments and vivas in one month which make it really exhausting for students towards the end of the semester where they are already burdened with the stress of final exams
Internships Opportunities:
The companies or law firms like Khaitan and Khaitan and other big companies usually visit university for placements.the role they offer is of associate with the law firm. They take big projects like panels of different banks which give a nice exposure to a fresher

- Overall Infrastructure is good very good.
- The Campus is one of the most beautiful places to stay.
- The moot coury Hall is nicely built. Classrooms are big and spacious.
Dislikes
- The teachers are not that good and experienced.
- Water Coolers are not available on all floors.
- ACs are not available in classrooms. It gets very hot.
Internships Opportunities:
Interships are not available to all students. Only brilliant students are provided interships by department. Most Interships are not Stipend based.
Vidhi - Nidhi Interships are one of those available throughout the Year.
Other are In High Court or District Courts.

- The things i liked most was the atmosphere here
- The second thing was the exposure in the terms of competition etc
- And at last but not least the faculty is so much experienced
Dislikes
- There is too much restrictions of attendance
- Infrastructure is not so good there are old buildings
- Doesnt provide any major facility to the students
Internships Opportunities:
There is no as much internships are provided by the department but there are many internships available in the chandigarh itselt but for that you got to have links with the seniors or someone who could help you out with that

The placement cell of the college provides placement opportunities in companies like ICICI Securities,Genpact and many such companies with an average package of 4-6 lakhs. Although there are no internships available.

Placement at Chandigarh University is good especially in our department UILS placement record is good. Yes Placement department with the help of UILS also assists students in getting the internship.
Placement procedure starts from the first semester initially they train students regarding soft skills and also help them in facing telephonic and video interviews.

Placement department is good, it is the full-time department and it supports students from the first semester to last, initially, it helps students in getting a better internship and later it helps students in getting a better placement. their mock interview test are best.
