Course Curriculum Overview

The 5 year course has all the basic business oriented subjects along with law based topics like Legal Methods and Research Methodology Contracts Administrative Law Constitutional Law, economics etc.

Placement Experience

The placement cell of the college provides placement opportunities in companies like ICICI Securities,Genpact and many such companies with an average package of 4-6 lakhs. Although there are no internships available.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The course fee for the first year is 84,400, for the second year 88,700, the third year it is 93,200, for the fourth 97,900, and for the fifth 102,800 making it a total expenditure of 467,000 for the 5 year degree.

Campus Life

The college organizes inter college, inter department competitions and sports activities in games like cricket, basketball, rowing and boxing too. They have also students winning or representing the university at national levels.

Admission

The Minimum criteria to be eligible is to be a 10+2 pass out from any recognized board with an aggregate of 50%. The admission/selection takes place on the merit in the entrance examination and the interview conducted by the university.

Faculty

The college has 19-22 faculty members who are well experienced and skilled in the academic field. The college has a faculty to student ratio of 1:33 which is quite comfortable for the student's learning experience.

The students of final year are eligible for the campus placement, all the local and outside companies hire the student and provide them a good package which can be more than 400000 annual. 70% students got placement after study. My plan after is study to start independent practice

Chandigarh University - A Great College Experience

Placement Experience:

In our college student become elgible for placement from 9th semester onwards i.e the second last semester. Many law firms and private companies and banks visit our colege like HDFC bank,HCL and many private firms and offers range from 4LPA to 6LPA. The highest package offered in our department was of 21LPA and average package is 3.5-4LPA. About 50-60% students get campus placements and rest opt for private consultation on out of campus interviews for better oppurtunities. Otherwise CU give gives guarantee they can get 100% placemn=ent of they go through TPA i.e the placement department After getting the degree I aspire to join law firm in my own family and work under the.

Placement Experience:

Lpu has a good record of placement but they can't compete nlu's placements. Fifth year student is eligible for placements here. L&L partner & Azb Partners visited this campus for placements. The highest package is 10 lakh and average is 4 lakh. My plans after degree is to join a law firm

Good for studies but 75% attendance is mandatory.

Remarks:

I went for taking my character certificate which is required while enroll in Bar council of India. The principal and two other teachers were gossiping so I had to wait for 3 hours to get their sign.

All about UILS

I tried in NMIMS Chandigarh and SLS pune and i was able to get admission in both of them but I preferred UILS as it was in the main campus of the panjan university and it have huge reputation in north india and i was having my personal preference and also UILS is government department it was also a key determinant The process to get in is like all other colleges you need to clear the entrance exam which was PUCET one need to give exam of 100 mcq based question and it have 50% weightage and other 50% is with 12th result. I applied to Christ and Symbiosis University and got accepted in both but since this was a government college and was near to my home i accepted the offer from Panjab University.
