Likes

The things i liked most was the atmosphere here
The second thing was the exposure in the terms of competition etc
And at last but not least the faculty is so much experienced

Dislikes

There is too much restrictions of attendance
Infrastructure is not so good there are old buildings
Doesnt provide any major facility to the students

This is reputed university in the chandigarh and it has a good name that's why i took admission in this university Student faculty ratio is too good and every there are different teachers that teches us There is combination of old and new faulty The exams held according to time and it is not that much difficult to pass in the exams

Internships Opportunities

There is no as much internships are provided by the department but there are many internships available in the chandigarh itselt but for that you got to have links with the seniors or someone who could help you out with that

Fees and Financial Aid

From the past 2 years there are increasing and this is very bad thing because the dept is self financed so the fees is on higher side Till i didnt got any internship and scholarship But there are many ways you can get fees concession if ur concerns are genuine

Campus Life

There are many fests happen in the panjab university itself and our institute is always the part of that because it is one of the most prestigious institute of univeristy Akhaada is annual sport fest of the uils and some other fests happen time to time And library has too much books and they have different portals which help students to learn online

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facilities are average because it is government hostel and fees is also minimal 10000 for 1 sem only but registration is difficult because of minimum availability of the hostel There are too much pg available in the sector 15 and if you want flats they are in sector 38 also

Admission

First of all student must have completed 12th then after that there will be entrance test happen in offline mode after that the selected candidates list is made and then after that counsllings held and 360 seats are available for both bcomllb and ballb from which 90 is reserved for sc,st,obc,freedom fighter,single girl child,etc,.

Placement Experience:

The students of final year are eligible for the campus placement, all the local and outside companies hire the student and provide them a good package which can be more than 400000 annual. 70% students got placement after study. My plan after is study to start independent practice

Chandigarh University - A Great College Experience

Placement Experience:

In our college student become elgible for placement from 9th semester onwards i.e the second last semester. Many law firms and private companies and banks visit our colege like HDFC bank,HCL and many private firms and offers range from 4LPA to 6LPA. The highest package offered in our department was of 21LPA and average package is 3.5-4LPA. About 50-60% students get campus placements and rest opt for private consultation on out of campus interviews for better oppurtunities. Otherwise CU give gives guarantee they can get 100% placemn=ent of they go through TPA i.e the placement department After getting the degree I aspire to join law firm in my own family and work under the.

Lpu has a good record of placement but they can't compete nlu's placements. Fifth year student is eligible for placements here. L&L partner & Azb Partners visited this campus for placements. The highest package is 10 lakh and average is 4 lakh. My plans after degree is to join a law firm

Good for studies but 75% attendance is mandatory.

Remarks:

I went for taking my character certificate which is required while enroll in Bar council of India. The principal and two other teachers were gossiping so I had to wait for 3 hours to get their sign.

All about UILS

I tried in NMIMS Chandigarh and SLS pune and i was able to get admission in both of them but I preferred UILS as it was in the main campus of the panjan university and it have huge reputation in north india and i was having my personal preference and also UILS is government department it was also a key determinant The process to get in is like all other colleges you need to clear the entrance exam which was PUCET one need to give exam of 100 mcq based question and it have 50% weightage and other 50% is with 12th result.
