Msramaiah-faculty,fees-and campus life

Likes

There are a lot of clubs to join, and a number of fests.
Freshers party conducted by our seniors is very fun.
Ramaiah’s main fest Udbhav is a 3 day fest where students can have fun.

Dislikes

Too many north indians who are very dominating.
There’ll be college on saturdays for first years, which might be quite exhausting
There is no transportation facility like college bus.

Course Curriculum Overview:

There are 2 internals and one sem end exam which is doable. The exams aren't soo hard that one cannot pass. Incase one doe not get eligibility in internals, the teachers will try and push them by giving a few retests, same with sem end exams, one can register for makeup or supplementary.

Overall college details

Likes

The teachers are really helpful and the environment is not so strict.
They conduct various hackathons and tech fests.
There are various clubs such as singing, dancing , tech clubs, etc.

Dislikes

Some teachers are biased towards karnataka students.

Placement Experience:

The placements happends at the end of third year. Various students get placed in good companies and they offer a promising package. Some companies set criteria for students according to CGPA for ex. students above CGPA 8.0 are only eligible for this company.

Rit - a honest review

Likes

The boys and girls ratio is pretty much good 50:50
The ciriculam is well maintained and followed
Pretty much interactive nature between teachers and students

Dislikes

Attendance is little bit more on stricter side
Campus sports facilities such as badminton could be improved
Mess food facilities are little bit below average

Placement Experience:

For placements students from 6th semester without any active backlog becomes eligible. Like last year around 1400 offers were made by more than 100 companies visiting the campus Highest package was around 60lakha and average being 5-8 lakhs again depending upon the branch Out of eligible students 80-90%students get places My plan is to carry on with job

Insights of M S Ramaiah Engineering College Bangalore , Karnataka

Likes

The staff / professors are well educated .They have the required knowledge about their respective fields. Lectures / classes are done in a proper way with regular monthly exams and semester exams. All your questions/doubts are well answered/cleared .
The campus is green with good built buildings for classrooms and laboratories .
The culture in the college is very much diversified as students all over India come here to study .

Dislikes

The campus size is decent not a very huge campus .
The attendance rules are strict and a student is made not eligible to write the semester end examinations if your attendance is low.
Some of the professors are strict and annoying most of the times .

Placement Experience:

The placement in this college are better than most of the colleges here in Karnataka . After you complete 5th semester the student is made eligible to seat in campus placements . The average in mechanical branch is around 4 lacks and highest is 12 lacks per annum .

Likes

Good infrastructure and well qualified lectures
Seniors are very helpfull and very friendly.
Well equipped labs and good classrooms. Canteen food is really nice and tastefull.

Dislikes

One thing i dislike in this college is very few fests will happen.
Engineering campus is very small and few fests will happen
Always college is full of construction of buildings.

Placement Experience:

Average package of my department in our college is 6lpa. Major hiring companies are Jindal, Burger and Asian paints, etc. Many seniors got internship in IIT madras and IIT bombey. Some of them got offer form aboard also.

The campus is big enough to roam around with friends
The location of campus is good as there are pretty good places nearby to enjoy yourself

Dislikes

I think they can make better the way we celebrate a fest

Placement Experience:

In the current ongoing placement the Highest CTC offered is 48LPA making it above average comparing to other colleges. The average package is 6LPA of previous year. The faculty here can also help here in your placement, you can get a LOR from them which will help you in your placement.

Campus is big enough and in a good locality. There are places around the college to enjoy ourselves
Infrastructure of the college is good and impressive

Dislikes

There can be done improvements in the lab facilities

Placement Experience:

After the 5th semester we become eligible for campus placement given that you have no supplementry as close to none companies will make the choice to select you. Alot of companies visit the campus including Amazon, phonepe, jp Morgan and samsung, Mercedes. The placement percentage is almost 100%

Fantastic Ramaiah college

Likes

I appreciated the placement training rather than than teaching
Placement services are recently improved a lot compared to previous year
I got good friends nice interaction with them

Dislikes

Campus size is very small and the college is placed in industrial area which make even worst
Playground is even smaller than my highschool
Teaching is not upto mark they need to attend regularly for coll6

Placement Experience:

For 5th sem students they can eligible to participate in placement activities , Mu sigma Infosys they offered 2 offers 12 lpa 60% gets placed from every batch My plan is to get a good job in software development

Likes

the campus is decent. the staff is nice too.
Labs are well equipped. decent placement opportunities.

Dislikes

The minimum attendence required for each semester exam is a bit high

Placement Experience:

Placements are quite decent in this college keeping in mind the recession. All the major companies including samsung,apple etc visit the college during the placement session. The maximum package offered in the year 2023 was around 55 lpa with an averaf=ge of around 7.2 lpa . The percentage of students getting placed is around 90-95% every year.

My Say about my Educational arena

Likes

First one was the lecturers, they are very friendly and they are really motivating , the proctersystem is also a really good system implemented
Industrial visits, college fest, activities are all top notch in the college and you have so much benefits
There are business leagues which are being conducted so that business knowledge is there in all the students

Dislikes

Sometimes teachers are rash in behaviour, so it seems kind of irritations
There is no good placements now as there were before which is a major drawback at this time

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placement from 3red semester Companies like exelr , pernard Ricardo , Karnataka bank , big basket no broker The highest package was 13lpa and lowest was 3 and average was 5 60% PHD is my plans
