The course curriculum is well designed and tested over the years. The curriculum will definitely prepare you for real world problems. The semester end exams are medium level hard, if you study everyday it will be easy for you if not then it won't be

Placement Experience

After the 5th semester we become eligible for campus placement given that you have no supplementry as close to none companies will make the choice to select you. Alot of companies visit the campus including Amazon, phonepe, jp Morgan and samsung, Mercedes. The placement percentage is almost 100%

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearly fees will be around 107000 rupees In which tuition will be around 65000 And the other miscellaneous amount and skill lab fees around 20000 Scholarships are available one of which is SSP. They are 6 or 7 clauses if you fall under any of those you will get some amount accordingly

Campus Life

The campus is big enough comparing to other institutions in Bangalore. You meet a variety to people in college making your social life. The location of the campus is pretty good considering the amount of restaurant and clubs around the campus. Enough of places to go around to enjoy with your friends. The annual fest called udbhav happens around in March and the Kannada Rajyostava happens in November. Both of the events are very much enjoyable where you can enjoy alot also can take part in events, competitions. Clubs in the college are in a good state i.e. they have some decent funding so mostly we don't have to spend anything and it will surely will give you new experience and connections with seniors and companies. You get to learn something which academics can't teach you.

Admission

I got this college in KCET counselling round previously I have heard about this college. When I got this college I started digging about this college on the internet. Found that it had a pretty good Nirf ranking and then I tried contacting a senior of the college and got to know about the course and curriculum. Which made it easier for me to choose this college. As he explained that considering my rank in KCET I am getting one of the best colleges in banglore

Faculty

Faculty here is very well experienced and have connections other top institutions of India. Some faculties are good in terms of behaviour. But can some can be very rude although I am sure that they will be having a reason for the. In terms of teaching they are pretty good teachers

Academic Curriculum- they constantly upgrade the subjects which needs to be taught
Labs - very well equipped labs for all branches.
You can choose to drop a lab and do it in winter break or summer break

Dislikes

very less holidays only 3rd saturday is holiday and they dont give holidays for jayantis and all
Auto drivers near the college. this is pure daylight robbery

Placement Experience:

From your 7th semester you become eligible to get placed and it is mandatory to get internship before you get placed which the college helps you to get and around 400-500 companies visit, and a good amount of offers are made by them. The average package stands somewhere around 11LPA -12LPA and the highest goes to 50LPA-60LPA and the median stands around 9-10LPA.

I have been from diploma background, after diploma I joined this course as later entry (direct admission to 2nd year). In diploma also, I have studied the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) course. As I know the basic concepts about this course, it is easy for me now to understand the concepts.

Faculties are highly experienced and ready to help all the time
Good infrastructure with well equipped labs, library, sports
Adds extra curricular activities like teaching AI and other trending topics in college

Dislikes

Washrooms need to be clean and good to use especially for girls hygiene it has to be good
Hostel food is not that great and needs improvement in the quality of food
Thought schedule everyday hard to cope up with everything

Good the teachers find the best ways to make the subject interesting and teach us in the most interesting way they will help the weak students to feel the subject as a cake walk and help all the students out in the same way

Infrastructure is well established and good
Security for Students is very high and no ragging
Food is very good and feels like a restaurant

Lack of events and only the educational events
Only one playground for cricket and also remaining
security are very rude but some are bit friendly

Yes our college provide placements, from final year that is 7th semester they will allow for placements, Many companies visited our college like tcs, Cognizant, indegene, microland etc and average package is 400000 and highest is 1500000 it given by oracle, Nearly 60 percent students got that is either in both technical and non technical jobs, my plans to join a IT company

Good Learning

Likes

Faculties are really well experienced by character all the faculties are humble and polite.
The college has good Infrastructure and the campus is surrounded with Trees it is very peaceful campus.
Placement support are really good with lab facilities where skill rack, NPTEL, Infosys springboard, MongoDB, IBM platform is provided for level up our skills.

Placement Experience:

Placements in our college are fairly good and students become eligible for campus placements from the final year, usually from the 6th or 7th semester. Many companies visit the campus every year and offewre opportunuties in different roles such as software developer,analyst, technical support, and other entry-level positions.

Campus Life and Social Interaction : Vibrant campus Life : The campus offer a dynamic environment with multiple student clubs , technicals societies , cultural fests ,and sports events students engaage in regular extracurricular activities.
Faculty Experience and Mentorship : Experienced faculty : The faculty at SVIT is often described as appreciable , knowledge, and supportive . professors are well - versed in there respective fields ,and many have industrial experience .
Placement support : Strong placement record: SVIT hasa good placement record ,with many students securing in top - tier companies like TCS , Wipro , Accenture, Infosys,. The college guidence through placement offers traning .

Dislikes

Collaborative Environment : Group project and assignment is core elements of curriculum with many course designed to involve group work and collaborative projects.
Cultural Activities : Are not celebrated more in semister
Collaborative learning : Communication barrier in larger teams especially working with different backgrounds or academic disciplines.

Placement Experience:

The placement at SVIT Bengaluru area quite impressive , especially in the technical field like Computer science, Civil, Electrical and Machanical Engineering.The college has a dedicated placement cell that students get the best opportunities for internship and final placement .At SVIT , Students typically become eligible for campus placement from the 7 th semester . However, the placement cell starts preparing students for interview and skill development from the 5 th semester onwards though mock interview , resume - building workshops , and personality development session.SVIT Bengaluru has strong industry connection , especially in the IT and engineering sectors .some of the companies that regularly visit the campus recruitment includes. TCS , Infosys , Wipro, Congnizant, Accenture,IBM, Capgemini ,Tech Mahendra , Amazon.High- package : The highest salary package offered in recent year was around 15 - 18 lakhs per annum for candidates . Average package: The average salary package offered is ar8 4- 5 lakhs per annum. The placement rates at SVIT is consistently high . On average , around 80-85% of eligible students get placed in good companies.

Less fees but wonderful knowledgeful experience

Dislikes

Particular teaching subject wise was not so clear.
Placement training courses coding wise was not that good.
Water facility sometimes was not good but it was ok nothing to dislike

Placement Experience:

1. From 7th semester onwards placement activities start. But from 1st semester itself they start training. 2. Windcare, Rinexx, Wipro, Infosys, A1 fence, Microdegree, Intellipath and so on. 3. Intellipath offers 10 lakh per annum and so on. 4. 85 percent students where getting placed. 5. To start my own venture.

An honest review

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I'm in 1st semester. I will update you after my exams. But one good thing is that from this year, internals and externals will hold same weightage i.e., 50/50 If you can score more than 45% in internals which wouldn't be that big of a deal because they'll ask most the questions from class notes. Most of the faculties are average I would say. But some are good professors too. I chose CSE because I find these topics interesting since junior school. And everyone is just jumping into cse is a reason too lol.

Unlocking the real experience by insider of M.S.Ramaiah student

I had also applied for RV College of Engineering but i got admission in M.S.Ramaiah Institute of Technology as i got the seat in this college during KCET allotment due to cutoff and rank variation i could not get it. College is good, faculty teaching is good with experienced ones. Coming to college infrastructure, the library is so good, labs were aslo good. Coming to placements side...for chemical engineering there are no good placements....its all the gate score which u need to focus on.
