Hostel Facility Experience – Ratan Tata Hostel, MSRIT I currently stay at the Ratan Tata Hostel, which is one of the on-campus hostels of MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology. Overall, my hostel experience has been comfortable, safe, and convenient, especially because of its proximity to academic blocks. ????? Room & Facilities Provided Shared rooms (mostly double/triple sharing) Bed, study table, chair, cupboard Ceiling fan and sufficient lighting Common washrooms (cleaned regularly) 24×7 water supply Wi-Fi connectivity (average but usable) Regular housekeeping in common areas The rooms are basic but functional, suitable for student life. ????? Meal Quality & Mess Menu Breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner provided Menu includes South Indian staples (idli, dosa, rice, sambar) and North Indian items (roti, sabzi, dal) Quality is average and hygienic, not restaurant-like Food is filling and affordable, though it can feel repetitive Overall, the mess is good enough for daily needs, and many students occasionally eat outside for variety. ???? My College Review

The hostel at RIT is good and quite comfy for most students. Rooms are shared by 2–3 people and come with a cot, table, rack, and good airflow. The washrooms are cleaned often, and each floor has Wi-Fi. There are TV rooms, study spots, and indoor games for all. The mess food is okay and clean, with a mix of South Indian meals, chapati, rice, dal, and some special dishes on weekends.The hostel join process is simple. Students fill an online form, give their papers, and pay the admit and caution fee. It is safer and cheaper when compared to most PGs in the area.Many students stay in MSR Nagar, New BEL Road, or Dollars Colony. These areas are safe, close to food outlets, and easy to travel from, making them good for day-to-day life.

Hostels are really good in the college. There are 4 boys and 2 girls hostel. The hostel fees are 160000,120000, 80000, 70000 respectively. Food quality is good do not expect home like food. North and South food is served.

One of the hostel is one kilometers away from the college, so I dislike this thing.

In the hostels their are two types of rooms one is attached bathrooms and another one is normal room in which you have common bathroom. The price of attached bathrooms are bit higher than the normal bathroom. They facilities like cleaning the room, washing the clothes, cleaning the bathrooms are available, they iron the clothes but they charge for it. Their are two sharing and three sharing rooms are available in two sharing their are two study table and two beds and other basic required furniture is available and same for three sharing. Menu of the mess is good I don't say it's exillent but you can eat. Meal quality is good they use good brands. To get the hostel you just need to apply for it in the college if you are not allotted you can rent a room or join the PG, there are multiple rooms and PG near the college the prices are according to the room and facilities they provide.

The hostels are amazing and spacious. Mess food is decent

The hostel facility is excellent. The rooms are well designed and spacious. I live in Ratan Tata block which has an annual fees of 120000 for double sharing room. The room is very beautiful and it also has attached washroom. The hostel has all the facilities like night canteen, laundary, common room,etc. The mess is above average. It has both North Indian and South Indian food. Hygiene is also maintained. My hostel is at MSRIT Gate 10

My College Sucks

(White lotus hostel) A bed, table and attached bathroom is provided. There are 3 types single, double sharing and triple sharing.They provide food but it's veg and not that great. Hostel fees is pretty pricey I'd say. Registration just requires proof of your admission into the college and payment of fees

Review of MSRIT

There are four boys hostel provided by the college as well as several other PGS and hostel under the gokula trust for both girls and boys Out of 4 hostels first one is freshers block that are located only to freshers on the basis of first come first serve and costs around 1 lakh Other three hostel includes Aryabhatta PG hostels and Ratan Tata block, the student who missed fresher block allotment can get in Aryabhatta or PG block or Ratan Tata block if rooms are available Aryabhatta room costs from 72000 to 100000 depending upon the occupancy as well as floor as each floor has different sizeed rooms. Similarity PG hostels also cost around 1 lakh depending upon different facilities. The return data block is the premium hostel where double sharing room cost 120000 and single sharing room cost 160000 but the rooms are actually very huge and the building is recently renovated. All the four hostels have a common mess in the Aryabhatta block. The food is prepared hygienically but the menu has not been changed since years making it very monotonous to eat. There are several North Indian as well as South Indian food spots around the campus in Mathikere for outside snacks as well as meals. All other hostels and PGS across mathigiri cost almost 102000 depending upon the facilities as well as distance from the college.

MSRIT is good college

Hostel facilities are good it's price is 99000 per year and it is for two Sharing . There are common bathroom in this hostel. There are many pgs nearby ramaiah college in mathikere area in affordable price varies from 5000 to 12000 per month. Hostel food is average.

The hostel mess food is not very good sometimes

The rooms usually are 2 sharing with free unlimited wifi, water, washing machine. The food is good and is better but sometimes doesnt taste good and is purely veg food. The hostel availability is based on the rooms available and is very much affordable and registration can be done during admission process. There are n numbet of pg available near the college withing 500m.
