RIT's placement scenario is very good, even for the most unpopular branches such as Civil Engineering. Starting from the 7th semester, students are allowed to participate in campus recruitment, and companies come to the campus for the entire final year. The major recruiting companies are L&T Construction, Shapoorji Pallonji, Brigade Group, Sobha Developers, Atkins, PWD, and Infosys for the non-core sector. Civil students on an average get ?5–6 LPA as salary, and the highest offer is usually in the range of ?12–15 LPA, depending on the company and the position. Almost 70–80% of Civil students are placed, while some of them go for higher studies or government examination.Site engineer, design engineer, planning engineer, survey engineer, and trainee engineer are the core positions that are offered. Internship opportunities are available a lot as I have heard because companies do arrive here looking for interns but you have to be really good to bag those opportunities. Projects and all are you're doing only but teachers do help in that also.

The highest stipend offered is for a wce branch student and it is 85000. There are ample of internship opportunities for cs and electric branch related students.The major companies that visit are goldman sachs jp morgan microsoft oracle asian paints bosch mercedes mahindra benz etc

You should have some good projects which are different from common projects. Their are many chances that the intern may get job in the same company where they got internship so internships are important so you should be prepared with good projects.
