Course Curriculum Overview

4

There are 2 internals and one sem end exam which is doable. The exams aren't soo hard that one cannot pass. Incase one doe not get eligibility in internals, the teachers will try and push them by giving a few retests, same with sem end exams, one can register for makeup or supplementary.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

The college itself organise an internship within the campus once first year is done. This will be evaluated during 4th sem grade review. For biotechnology companies like Biocon,Himalaya and various other companies. For other branches this year there was a placement from a japanese company.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yearwise Fees- Management would 10 lakhs for first year, and the rest is 3 lakhs per annum. Cet fees is 1 lakh, Through comedk exam the fees would be 3 lakhs per annum. If you are an NRI the fees maybe around 5 LPA. Other than Biotechnology other courses like CSE or ISE, Cet fees is same but management may vary.

Campus Life

5

There'll be many tech fests conducted by different branches in a year. For us it was conducted in the month of november. There'll be kannada Rajyotsava fest conducted in the month of November or December. Udbhav will be conducted in the month of march or april which also has dj nights.

Admission

I applied for MSRIT because of faculty, and also because its among top 3 engineering colleges in karnataka. The placements are also pretty good, and we can also get a lot of exposure as they are a number of clubs and also there'll be various events that are conducted every year.

Faculty

4

The teaching faculty were mid. But there are few ones who i really liked. Faculties for Subjects like chemistry, physics, math are great. I personally didn't like faculties who took programming languages because i couldn't interpret well.

Placement Experience:

After completion of the course students are divided to teachers and the food industries are come to college and interview us and the student is eligible they can select. Some standard food related companies are visited nestle, ITC mysore , sulawines and some other companies also. The CGPA of the students is 7.5 or more is good below this also get selected but more than 7.5 is good. My plan is after completion of course then do work and get some experience in the industries and some of the time I am going to select a product and launch it over the world.

They start conducting placements activities from the 2nd year itself like AMCAT preparation, skillrack, etc. So the students become eligible for campus placements from 7th sem itself. Many companies like TCS, Diggibyte, Zoho, etc. and the offers are from 3 lakh to 16 lakh per annum. Percentage of students getting placements are about 90% My plan is to get into the IT sector as i have an interest to explore and enhance my technical skills

Placement Experience:

I applied to colleges like BMSIT and Sir MVIT, and I had confirmed seats there, too. I chose RNSIT because it has a better reputation for placements in my branch and the campus environment felt more welcoming. I didn't get into RVCE because my KCET rank wasn't high enough for their top branches, as the competition was very tough that year. The admission process is simple. They mainly take students through KCET and COMEDK. You need at least 45% in your 12th boards (PCM). Most students prefer KCET because the fees are lower. Once the seat is allotted through counseling, you just visit the campus, submit your documents, and pay the fees. The whole process was quite smooth and well-organized."

From 6th sem students are eligible for placement and for intership even 3rd and 4th sem students are eligible to apply if they are well skilled. Recently JP Morgan visited in our college for summer internship no students got selected due to low skill,l. I our college the highest package was 34LPA in 2023 and average package was 7LPA. Almost 70-75% students got placed in their 8th sem. My plan after getting the degree I want build an startup.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is very unique, and very new, we are not taught irrelevant subjects and topics like every university does, Polaris school of technology (PST) is a new gen college which mainly focuses on tech, producing the best engineers not amongst india but amongst the world, it's aim is to produce engineers who are better than IITians and MITians, all these specifications influenced me to choose this course/curriculum When it comes to real-world applications, Polaris school of technology(PST) gives us real-life problems and scenario based projects through evaluations which help us in the future and helps us to build a proper approach for problems and train us to be the best. We have two main exams per sem which would be conducted every 3 months that is ½th of the sem, we have a total of 8 sems, so total 16 exams, our exams would be difficult for other college students, but not for us as we have the best mentors.
