An Honest review from a tired student

Likes

There are some really good teachers and inspiring teachers.
Paper is usually quite easy and teachers do help in studying for the exam by giving the similar questions in assignments
No dress code is the best thing ever. Nothing is better than being comfortable while studying.

Dislikes

Study curriculum prepared by the teachers.
Canteen food is just so mediocre and most days hard to swallow.
People are quite putting up a show and do not seem genuine.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements after the 5th semester. For mechanical engineering a lot of companies like Mahindra and Mercedes good companies do make offers and of course other companies for mechanical engineering. The highest average packages is not so great. It is usually on average 50 K per month percentage of students getting placements is alright, But a lot of them don't take the jobs cause the money is too less. I am planning on doing further study Probably M tech And getting my PhD

A Brief on My experience in RIT.

Likes

The campus is amazing and big. The seniors there are too kind and respectful

Dislikes

The teachers do not teach with interests and lab equipments are old and do not work sometimes.

Placement Experience:

Placements: The placements season starts from your 6th semester.there is a dedicated placement officer for each department who takes care of placements. there are numerous number of comapnies that visit Rit.right from onsite job offering to offsite jobs are offered. The highest package in RIT is about 50 lakhs and avarage package is abount 7 lakhs. Abount 99% of students get placed who apply for placements. My plans after getting degree is to write GRE.

Various clubs keeps us busy and encourags us to learn more
RIT provides very good opportunities to the students interested in sports
The teaching level of the faculties is very good

Dislikes

The campus in smaller which makes us to go to the hospital campus everytime

Likes

Good ranking of college among other private colleges of India
Best location of college in the silicon valley of India
Various opportunities of internship to students

Dislikes

Campus area of the college is less than expexted
Conditions of hostels and mess is not good
Teachers and professors are not good in explaining concepts to students

Placement Experience:

From the end of 6th semester students become eligible for campus placemets.Many companies visit the campus including Oracle, UI path, etc offering students interships and full time jobs.The highest package offered to the student is 50 lakh per annum from UI Path and the average package of CSE branch is around 10lakh. Nearly 93% of students are placed in various companies.My plans after graduation is to grab a good on campus placement and look forward to my other goals in my life.

Likes

The campus is small but is good and filled with greenery
Library provided bu this institution is quite good
Teaching faculties are good and provides with practical knowledge

Dislikes

The campus of Ramaiah Institute Tech is quite small
The canteen food is not good enough and is too small for the whole college
The classes and small and somewhat are types of school

Likes

City life of Bengaluru is awesome and happening.
Teachers teach whole heartedly and with enthusiasm
Bengaluru weather is very nice so it helps in lightening up ur mood

Dislikes

No college life the college life is dead
No club activities clubs don’t receive any funds from the management
No college fests since past 5 years so another thumbs down

Placement Experience:

Average package is of 7.66lakhs per annum.Placement percentage is 96 percent . Mercedes Benz Microsoft Google also come in the campus for placements. The placements were not that good in recent few years due to Covid hope it improves

City Life, like the college is in the main Bengaluru side so life is happening
Diversity, students from all over India come to study
Efforts bye Teachers, teachers teach whole heartedly.

Dislikes

Small campus, the engineering campus is just of 3 acres
No events, no fests no events college life is dead
No club events, clubs are dead here no funds

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students become eligible for placements.Mercedes Benz , oracle , Reliance , Samsung are some of the big companies who made their offers , highest package is of 45 lakhs p/a average is around 7.66 lakhs per/annum. Placement percentage is 96%

Reality of ramaiah

Likes

There are plenty of clubs which you can join for personality development.
Hostels are pretty clean and tidy also you will get free laundry service here
Labs and classrooms are well equipped and clean.

Dislikes

Campus size is very small , its like only 5 acres approx.
There are very less or no fests happening in college
Attendance policy is very strict , its like 85% attendance is mandator For writing exams

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum of college is a bit older as they teach physics and chemistry in first year which is of no use if you are from any good branch like cse because you must coding skills if you wanna grab opportunities at the end of fourth year and also the teaching method of faculty is very boring so you have to study all things by yourself if you wanna get a good cgpq.

Likes

I like the college because campus is beautiful and also teaching staff is good because they will teach brilliantly
I like the college because they will provide good placements and having sports,gym etc.
I like the college hostel because it is old but it is good .they provide healthy food.

Dislikes

i dislike here about college is campus is small and crowd is huge.
i dislike here about college is hostel non-veg food not there and also security problem.

Placement Experience:

From 6th,7th and 8th sem students are eligible for campus placements and 254 number of companies are visited to our college and the 95% of students are placed after getting degree I want to place in good companies like Amazon and Microsoft
