Course Description
The applications for admissions to RRCE have to be submitted online through the official portal of the college. Here are the steps to apply:
- Visit the official website of the college
- Click on the ‘Students Admissions Apply Here’/ ‘Admissions Open’ link at the home page.
- You will be redirected to a new page.
- Fill the mandatory details for registration.
- Select the apply tab at the end of the registration form.
- Subsequently, after successful registration, you will be asked to fill the Name and Email ID along with the description of the information for admissions.
- Submit the details.
- Candidates will be further contacted by a faculty member.
Eligibility Criteria
Aspirants seeking admission to 3 year Full-time Ph.D Program should have completed Post Graduate degree in the relevant discipline from the recognised Institute/University.

RRCE Bangalore Ph.D. Eligibility Criteria
The candidates shall possess a Master’s Degree in Engineering / Technology or equivalent or M.Sc. (Engg.) by Research degree from the University or any other University recognized by it, with a minimum CGPA of 6.75 out of 10 or 60% aggregate marks at either the Bachelor’s or the Master’s Degree.
RRCE Bangalore Ph.D. Selection Criteria
An Expert committee under each Faculty, constituted by the Vice-Chancellor shall scrutinize the applications received and recommend the names of selected persons to be recognized as Research Supervisors to the AS and EC for their approval.
The selected candidates must appear for an interview.
