PESITM Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

College provides 75% to 80% placements through CDC placement group. Some are IT companies, Non-IT companies and others are coaching / internship courses. The placements begins in the beginning of the 7th semester. Many companies will attend for placement hirings. I can't tell all are famous companies but relevant, reliable startups also involve in the recruitment process.

Once training is done which is mostly by the end of the third year, we automatically becomes eligible. Once the industries expert starts visiting the campus and now a days it's mostly online, we get enough opportunities to get placed in companies like Infosys, Coforge and others with a minimum in hand salary of 60-70k a month.

Like every other college one has to be in the final year to be able to have placements. From Coforge to Goldman Sachs, from national to multinational all kind of companies come her for placements. The year 2023 was a record breaking year as around 85% students wer placed and this is much better percentage than the other colleges that I have mentioned in my review.

am saying this because if we are asking this question to anyone,the common answer which we are getting is TO GO WITH YOUR INTEREST. But if I try to be pitch accurate, almost 99.9% of the students don't know about their interests and the credit not only goes to us but also to our education system which reminds us daily to be good in academics, no matter what you like or not.

The curriculum from the VISVESVARAYA TECHNOLOGICAL UNIVERSITY has the latest syllabus and provide us the industrial requirements to the students and the examination provided by them are more enough to gain the knowledge

The scheme i was studying was 2018 scheme under VTU. I choose the CSE course because it was my interest and also its booming. Curriculum was not according to current market trend so it doesn't help much to be prepare fro real worls applications. Improvements to be done in curriculum and should teack technologies that are used currently in the real world industry. They used to take 3 Internal exams and 1 final exam.

The students who are in the 7th Sem will be eligible for campus placement the placement training sessions will be conducted for every year students but the actual placement drives all start by the 7th semester. The placement of our college has been increased recently this year almost there was a 90% placement. There were students with more than 5 opportunities also. My plan is to get placed in good company during my degree I hope I may do it. This year the highest package offered was 10 lac per annum by byjus company.

From the 7th semester onwards you can attend campus placements. And many companies will visit and selection will depend on you. Since this year it was online the competition was huge. I think the highest package was 10LPA and the average is 3.5 to 4.5. Many got placed in different companies with different roles. My plan is to work in an MNC.

Good but not great. Have a lots of areas to improve. Exams are the worst. There is no guarantee that the student will get the marks he deserved. And its been like 90 percent of the student will have atleast one backlog in his engineering life. This could be improved n n

In Shimoga city it's one of the good college. Where as come to fee it's an offerable transportation facilities is very good. Faculties in our department was very nice they will be very supportive to the students. They never underestimate any one, when ever we feel difficulty in subject means we are very free to ask them and the main thing is faculties are too friendly with students.
