The college also provides scholarships for extraordinary students who were best in academic excellence.
Every year the college celebrates xavier fest with a new and unique theme all students enjoy the fest joyfully, availability of books in every department there is a library where you get all the good books for your course
Me i think xavier's is best and yes of course you should surely enroll here

Dislikes

College canteen was not so good and tast of food was not nice
It comes to placement, college have a war record. only 20 to 25% of assistant got placed from the campus and that 2 at a very low average package.
Teaching are not that good some teachers are great but most are not that helpful

Professors are very hardworking and dedicated towards our study. They teach us our subjects in very decent way and treat every student equally.
Hod of our department mathematics and statistics are very kind and humble.they always used to help us in our study and in every academics.

Dislikes

No fun events are conducted. If any cultural program are conducted then they give priority to only sc st community which is not fair
75% attendance are compulsory. If you have some medical issues then 60% attendance is compulsory. So for competitive basis it is not good.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have chosen this course because of to rising technical world. Statistics plays a very crucial role in every field and here we get theoretical knowledge very well but there is a lack of practical knowledge. It can improve.

Insight about Xavier's college, ranchi

The faculties have very much knowledge on their respective subjects and they are super supportive,always give motivation, always tell us about the job opportunities or what better we can do so that we get better knowledge of the subject.
The campus life is good, not super good but good in some ways..the campus is quite large,big ground in the middle and many sitting areas are there in the college. Seniors were super supportive, few canteens are there in the campus.
There are many facilities which are provided to us by college.there are few clubs also which you can join that will help you in your personal development.principal and vice principal sir always motivates us to do something good and better in our life

Dislikes

Very less placement offers which is something that I think college should work on.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Our curriculum follows the ranchi university syllabus and it level up with the future need of the subject but there are some areas with need improvement as they should focus more on lab and practical work and it should focus on future needs of this subject. We have 2 exams in a semester one is mid-semester and the other is end-sem. Questions are tough but not very much.

All about ST.XAVIER COLLEGE , Ranchi campus

The college is near my house and it has good parking space and the college has the best location since it is located at main ranchi.
There are many cultural programs which held at college so if you are a native ST,SC people then you will have a grt experience here
The campus is good , greenary, neat, clean and tidy. Ragging and voilence is strictly prohibited in campus

Dislikes

Teachers are not very coperative and there is a lack of proper competitive , study environment .
You will feel very burdened since teachers will not going to help you out you have to figure everyone by yourself and cover you syllabus properly
Attendence is very compulsory which is problematic for students who are preparing for any competitive exams .

Course Curriculum Overview:

Biotechnology is itself a very difficult and complicated course , a student has to give his best in order to understand the concepts well . Cirriculum of the college is really nice you will get time to be prepared and prepares you for real-world applications or further academic pursuits like IITJAM BIOTEC , GATB , CUETPG , AIIMS etc . the difficulty level is moderate if the student has prepared well and has clear concept in mind she can do well in exams.

Classes are best furnished and students are well dressed well maintained
The faculty is soo supportive,they provide there best for us
Student get a very safe and perfect environment for study.college life is good and very happy to study in the college

Dislikes

Morning class in winter should start from 7:30am because it is very cold in ranchi in winter
The compulsary attendence is 75% this makes life day hard for early sleepers
Regular uniform like you can give us 1 day to wear casual uniform

As I'm a bsc-statistics graduate student it significantly enhance future career prospective by providing a solid foundation in data principle and practice.Statistics graduate can pursue various roles in govt and corporate sector.

Anti ragging and Friendly environment between colleagues and teachers as well.
Faculty is top rated of every department. Really very hard working teachers are there.
Hygienic and healthy canteen . Gym and hostel facilities are provided by the college

Dislikes

There is nothing as such which should be disliked. I really loved the college
Everything is perfect in the college . Behavior is also nice .
There is nothing as such to be disliked. The college is A graded by the NAAC

Placement Experience:

After the completion of 4th semester, campus selection generally starts . Many companies come and take the students who are in the last year of their course. Highest package provided is upto 10lpa and average is 3lpa .

A student's struggling College Life

Likes

The college campus is huge . The surrounding as well as the environment is clean and refreshing.
The teachers are supportive, kind and friendly.
The college provides the students with different facilities for sports gaming etc.

Dislikes

The college guard is way too strict . He never talks politely.
The unnecessary hype regarding the attendance .
Nepotism in every event. Tallented students feel left out by the ones who already have contacts within.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The faculty members are very much qualified. They intend in focusing on the overall development of the students in the class this none being left out during the lectures. The teachers create a very involving environment within the class thus providing a very interactive session during the lectures. The questions asked by us are thoroughly answered by them and in such a detailed manner thus making every concept clear and understandable.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In my college, I chose Science from three courses, Science, Arts and Commerce because I had to do IIT, that too with Maths and the number of students having Math subject in the college was very high. Out of about thousand children, 800 children had chosen Math only. The math teacher in college was very good and the arts and commerce teacher was very good. I didn't know much about him because I had no knowledge of him.

College is good as the environment is food for studies.
The clubs work very well, as the work with NGOs for good cause

Few student groups are dominating which is not good.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I was the student of biology, i was interested in animals so I opted for zoology course. The faculty is very good, the teachers are friendly and cooperative. The teachers are very well trained and the use various methods of teaching. The semesters are of 6 months. The exams are quite tough as the syllabus is vast.

the friendly behaviour of the teachers with the students
Time to time taking of the exams no reschudling
The management during the events are good

low area campus as the campus size is small
Due to less area the size of ground is also small
the rules are quite stringent . too much of discipline is needed

Life at St Xavier's - St Xavier's Review

The professor's are amazing and always ready to help.
The infrastructure is very beautiful and charming.
The course curriculum is up to date so it helps in several areas.

Placement Experience:

There are many companies that visit Xavier's and pick students by taking exams and interviews. Some of them include Accenture, Capgemini, tcs, etc. These multinational companies visit and you can take your chance by qualifying exam and interview. In short, there is full placement at Xavier's and you will surely be settled after your course.
