- There are many opportunity and scholarship available for students and college do financial support for ews student.
- The faculty is very good, they help you with every doubt you have and clear that.
- They held food festivals and various types of cultural events on their campus and it was quite fun and interesting to be a part of that.
Dislikes
- College authorities should have a students union to hear the problems of the students collectively. A student union acts as a mouth for the students to speak out their problems and simultaneously find their solutions.
- I was quite disappointed about the placement they don't give us placements after bsc in microbiology
- There is no fest and function and also there is no space to hear students want

- The college campus is really big And infrastructure is fascinating
- The faculty members of the college are very friendly and cooperative
- It is very easy to make friends in the college premises And the seniors of the college are very friendly

- Mostly the language spoken in the college by the students is Bengali, and if you are not Bengali, it is hard to understand and communicate sometimes
- The College lacks security as it doesn’t have cameras in the classroom
- The office faculty is sometimes rude and they are always angry

The college will make you industry ready and the college will also help you to prepare your mindset for the real world and the upcoming challenges in your life. They also ask you to prepare PPT which will enhance your Job skills And there are many extra curriculum activities provided by the college, which includes many types of indoor and outdoor games and events like fashion shows, singing, competitions, and art competitions, which enhances your skills

- I like being in the college and making friends
- I like the different clubs but I didn't join them all still I like that there are clubs
- I like the surroundings and campus because it's calm and pretty

- I don't like the language barrier i face as I don't speak the same language as the people there
- I hate that i have to walk from college to auto stand
- I hate that we don't get enough classes and it's always cancelled
Course Curriculum Overview:
Acrually I chose political science because I'm interested in this specific field as I want to give an exam on UPSC but the curriculum is a bit challenging in our college as different subjects are taken by 2-3 teachers and it's hard to differentiate and plus the syllabus is confusing sometimes.

- Faculty members are helpful, very student-friendly and highly educated.
- Campus Life is great. Activity Clubs are very active.
- Classrooms in the main building gives off old Calcutta aesthetics.
Dislikes
- Female restrooms should be renovated. Some restrooms lacks wash basins and mirrors.
- Canteen food is not upto the mark in comparison to the price.
- There's practically not much things I disliked except one would surely get lost several times on your first week in the campus.
Course Curriculum Overview:
My decision to pursue English was not quite influenced by the curriculum but rather my own keen towards literature from childhood.
As for our curriculum which the NEP has recently introduced, I personally feel burdening students with various other subjects apart from their actual course (for example, the CVAC, IDC papers) really diverts, confuses and adds unnecessary stress to student. It distract students from actually working on their major paper.

- The faculty is extremely good. Most teachers are highly experienced.
- There are two different canteens. The food is alright.
- Students have the freedom to choose their own outfit for the day.

- I disliked the way notices are often given at the last moment.

Course Curriculum Overview:
The course curriculum has been satisfactory for me. Oue faculty makes the materials even more interesting and as an english honours student, an affection towards the subject is very necessary for pursuing it.

- Presence of Actively working Activity Clubs.
- No entry without id cards ensure that random people can't enter the college campus. This is good for security purposes.
- The old buildings are still present which depicts the heritage of North Kolkata. New buildings with modern infrastructure are also built.
Dislikes
- The college's Annual Fest CALEDONIA isn't taking place for the last few years.
- While the semester exams of other colleges are over, our exams are never being held on time. The University is the reason for this not the college.
- Fees are slightly higher compared to other Colleges under the same University.
Course Curriculum Overview:
I studied Humanities in Class 11 & 12. In my 12th Boards I got 97% in best 5 subjects. In college I have opted for Bachelor of Honours in English. This Degree mainly focuses on English Literature and it's History. In the First Semester our syllabus focuses on Poetry. This subject is a good choice for those having passion for Literature and Book reading.

- I like the ambience of my college which makes me feel the history and the beauty of the classical things including the statues, pictures, rooms etc.
- I love the college atmosphere too where there are no signs of ragging and student politics.
- The professors and our faculty are quite nice and they provide us with many solutions, guidance and motivation too.
Dislikes
- The girls to boy ratio is way too odd where the number of girls are 35 + and the boys are 15 +
- The washrooms are not tidy and hygienic. Even for the water filters.
- Canteen are not quite good, although it does and fulfills the work and it's cheap. The quality isn't that great.
Placement Experience:
From the final semester, the students get placements offer. Till now, companies like Amazon, Tata, IBM etc have visited and made offers to plenty of students and offered jobs too. Percentage of students are roughly 60% based on placements.
For me, after having an English Hons degree, i would sit for the cat exam and pursue MBA. Later when I am independent and have a stable job and life, i wish to sit for UPSC and do civil services.

- The playground of the college is a bit too far with little facilities
- No representations or availability of the student unions by the college (though the ruckus was created by the ruling party goons in 2019)
- Extra curricular activities and their groups are being provided with little support

Since placement for the course in the college is bit difficult, one can see how their qualities are enhanced by the daily working and studying in the college. One can see how it's transcription, translation, creative writing, research on a topic and other qualifications help to get a job in the future as a

- The teaching staffs are excellent as they are very good at their work
- The non teaching staffs are also friendly and good
- The college has good facilities like gym , canteen, and good ventilated old styled classrooms
Dislikes
- Attendance strictness is there as minimum attendance is 75%
- There is sudden announce of exam dates and staffs remains absent many times
- There is no fests and your college life will feel more of like school.

The course circullam is mediocre. The staffs are well learned but many teachers remain absent and the course is not done thoroughly in the classes .. at the end of the day you yourself have to study making notes to pass the exams. the teaching of staffs are just an overview or rather a skeleton structure of the syllabus

- The professors and the faculty member are very helpful and they provide all the information and knowledge that a student needed
- There is a huge variety of Cericulam and activities and seminars which help students to build new skills
- There is a huge ground for sports and there are kany opportunities for a sports man

- The college is very strict and didnot entertain any type of fun and privacy there is no space for students

There is a placement cell in college which provide very good placement to all the students of all departments even though the science and commerce Department get much higher values as compred to Ba the highest is 64000 and the lowest is 10000
