Greenery, college has a beautiful campus and building

Dislikes

Dry days, crowd not very enthusiastic can be better with more activities where people come willingly rather than forced.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Diversity of subjects can choose from a variety, subjects are interesting thats why i choose them, depends on the class the faculty:student ratio if it is a in demand subjects then class can be filled with 90+ students but if not 40+, some teachers highly qualified teach very well, most not but try their best. Exams not hard can pass easily if study from previous year question papers, learn all the repeated questions well as pattern is the same, practice writing as 6 pages must be written.

My take on MCM DAV College for Women

Likes

The faculty are the highlight of the college in my opinion
The affordability of the college is also a point.
The social life of the college is great.

Dislikes

The hostel menu should be seasonal in my opinion
we need some rotation of the food that is served
nothing else is really bad with the college

Placement Experience:

In the last semester students are eligible for placements. But as I'm in the first year right now, I'm not quite sure of the names of the companies and the number of companies they come in. the average package starts from 120000 per year.

The canteen food was quite good also the nesscafè is quite nice here
The campus is quite good and beautiful here
The auditorium is quite spacious and nicely done

Dislikes

The prices for the food they charge is quite unresonable sometimes
The classroom benches or chairs are quite uncomfortable to sit in.
Some classroom are quite hot in summers .

I personally chose this course because I wanted to do English hons. The faculty is very nice There are many students . The msts were done in October and then the 1st semester exam in December . I would say the difficulty level was quite medium if u study.The teachers teach in quite a fast pace. Sometimes it gets hard to keep up other than that its fine.

Campuss is very good at all . students are very good.
There is proper discipline in the college.
There is cantin too in the college.All are good.

I don't like bostel food, facilities and many more.

The course curriculum and facaulty members are quite good. I have chosen this course due to my interest. All the facaulty members are doctorate. Exams are conduct twice a year . They are not very difficult to pass.

The atmosphere in the college is healthy.
The faculty is kind and well trained in their fields

The course offers a wide variety of subjects that one can choose from, there are three subjects that you can choose out of the many and two compulsory subjects. Apart from the five subjects, one could also choose additional subjects and various languages. The faculty is well educated and trained and are helpul and accommodating of the students

The faculty and the opportunities offered
The campus is extremely beautiful including the hostel campus
The greenery is the most beautiful thing here

Dislikes

The hostel does not have cctv cameras installed
At times there is water shortage in the hostel
The timings of the hostel are very strict

Placement Experience:

After the graduation degree I plan on giving my first attempt for upsc as I will turn 21 by then and I even plan on simultaneously pursuing masters in political science from either Delhi or pune . The placements offered by the college are excellent

College security...icards have been checked at the main gate entry gate
Canteen services which are overall good like of Nescafe
Environment of the college is very good nd frndly

Dislikes

Services of some college members...which is very bad .. no-one is allowed to sit in canteen if you have purchased something from other shop like Nescafe nd chat shop or bakery
Time schedule for our course .... We don't have a break time in between nd classes of 1+ hrs
Time for classes should be decreased to 45 mins.

My experience was really good at this college.
Campus life is great we study we hustel and we grow.
A bit hectic schedule is there in first year..

Dislikes

Hostel food is not ample or I would say.
Bsc students are having a bit hectic schedule.
Overall no problem its oakya okaya for us.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I had interest in biology i. e. Study of living organisms. Faculty:student ratio is not equal obviously students are more than the teachers. Faculty members are highly qualified they have achieved their phd from reputed institutions and are very supportive towards their students. Teaching methods are also very good. Term exams were once and then after that we had final exams at the end of each semester.
