An honest thought of mine

Likes

Food court and the canteen, nescafe sandwiches stop
Bakery with stationary and small book store
The library and the computer department labs

Dislikes

No washroom in the computer department 😢
The food is not to the taste but is hygienic
Cost cutting for events and fine system 😒

Placement Experience:

The placement starts from the final year and preparation around the 5th semester. The placement and employability isn't very fascinating but still good for a side hustle. We would still need much more certificate added to get the chance of interview.

MCM DAV college is good for MA psychology

Likes

Canteen. faculty and food. Study material
Infrastructure, classrooms, class duration

Dislikes

Lack of maps of classrooms, lift acces for all students
No phones policy. No open space and sitting area

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because it seemed interesting as I had studied clinical in my bachelor's. The faculty student ratio is good as there are atleast 10 teachers in the department. The faculty is well qualified doctorate level professors.

Education in MCM

Likes

Education is quite nice and the faculty is coperative
They organized a lot of curricular activities
Greenery and the environment inside the college

Dislikes

Environmental outside the college is not so goodd
Desks of the college is of poor quality and too small
They didn't organize any educational trip for Non medical studentsdents

I opt B. Sc. Non Medical because I am coming from a science background and want to become a Chemistry Professor. Student ratio is average, there are 40 students in my class. Faculty is nice and coperative with students

Likes

Cleanliness of washroom for girls is good. As girls pay more attention towards the hygiene so it is good it that way. There are 5 washrooms in all. In each floors and the helpers clean it every day. So it is nice.
The classes and the way of teaching is good as projectors and ppts is used to teach the students. The class infrastructure is good every student get the pc to learn the commands and all the semester subjects

Dislikes

The canteen infrastructure is not good and the interior also. Most of the things r less in quantity then the prices so it is not a good thing
The college sports park is only allowed to play and not to sit if it is winter's for the others.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choosed this course as im interested in computer applications and nowadays everything is computerized so it is better to have a knowledge of it. 1:10 Btech, mtech,m.phil,bca,MCA n all 10 days and 40% in every subject

My college life

Likes

I like my department very much . The classroom the faculty and the environment all are very well i can just stay whole day in my labs
Nescafe food is very good and the whole menu

Dislikes

We cant sit anywhere in college Although in our ground
Very rude behaviour of our canteen staff

Placement Experience:

Depending upon the company somtimes only final year students our eligible for placements and sometimes it is open for all semester students my plan after the degree is to do postgraduation in computer applications for better placements in future

All about life at Mcm Dav College for Women, Sector 36, Chandigarh.

Likes

Education, all syllabus is according ugc so its good if we have to clear csir/gate exams.
Teachers- very very supportive. I guess they are best not only in teaching but also in guiding and providing mental support

Dislikes

Less opportunities reagrding internship and placements

I chose this course because chemistry has a wide scope. This is a women collegs. All teachers are very supportive and cooperative, all are very well educated. Every teacher has phd degree minimum, so its very great to study in the exposure of such teachers. There are mid sem in each sem and then the final sem and exams levels are moderate, if we study well then its easy to clear the exams.

MCM DAV College is a fairly good institute

Out time and no phone policy and the campus is small
Boys outside the gate making girls feel uncomfortable

I chose this course because the department is one of the most accredited one in tri City. The faculty student ratio is good there are atleast 10 teachers. The teachers are highly qualified. The exams are conducted in a timely manner and it is moderate to pass.

Likes

Things I like is the infrastructure of clg. The behaviour of teachers and them guiding us for our future.
Internship of students they are getting. The package for their internship is 4 lac per anum.
The helpfully nature of the staff and guiding us for our future.

Dislikes

Hostel facilities are not good the quality of food is not good
The hostel fee is so much high as they are not giving that much facility but still taking so much fee
All other things are good about this clg .

Placement Experience:

After I joined the clg their are many students who got opportunity to work in companies as their internship. As I talk about the package the students got 4 lac per anum package for their internship. All around the placement getting for student is High.

I didn't like the hostel facilities and food .

Placement Experience:

Mostly final year students are eligible for campus placement. Few companies do visit. Offers around 4 to 5 lakh per annum salary. From 100 students around 10 to 12 students get placement. My plan is to do PhD from a good institute. Higher in ranking.
