SDMIT BE Mechanical Engineering: Fees 2025, Course Duration, Dates, Eligibility

A student with a CET ranking of 9250 chose SDM Institute of Technology, completing admission on September 9th, 2011, by filling the application form, submitting documents, and paying fees via Demand Draft. Faculty are highly qualified, particularly in the mechanical branch, although there's criticism about the slow fee processing by the office staff. The annual college fee is 48,500 Rs, and the hostel fee is 15,000 Rs. The fees are lower compared to nearby colleges, with scholarships available for financial support.

SNQ quota students pay around 19,000 Rs, CET fee is about 75,000 Rs, and management fees for mechanical engineering have risen to 1.5 lakh Rs. Other branches like computer science have fees around 1 lakh Rs. The college provides good placement training but has seen a decline in visiting companies over the past two years, with poor placement opportunities for mechanical and civil engineering students, as only Bosch visits as a core company for mechanical engineering.

Most visiting companies are from the IT sector. A new placement officer is making efforts to improve placements for civil and mechanical students. Scholarships, including Vidyasiri ePass and national scholarships, along with bank loan facilities, are available to support students financially.
