- The amazing faculty who are passionate about teaching and always willing to help
- The huge range of scholarship opportunities available for university student ranging from partial scholarship cover tution fees only and living cost they also offers 1 lakh worth of scholorship every year
- There are fests, annual prize distribution for academic ,sports performance there are also book fairs, all festivals like lohri and holi are celebrated by gathering of students in ground or auditorium
Dislikes
- There is not much anything to dislike. Students can get problems due to timetable as sometimes we don't have a free lecture.
- Unwanted charges before exams is one of the bad thing of college
- Many parties do unfair activities to win. May be its just to enhance rhe knowledge and competitions skills but sometimes students do wrong things but as i said the students who arent well disciplined are rusticated from our college. Our college has g

Placement Experience:
You will be eligible for campus placement from fifth semester, but chances of getting placed are low. So it's better to look for the placements off campus. I have bsc computer science , so I am planning to learn web development and apply for internships offline for now.

- Fee structure and the app system to get to know about the time table and teachers and no need for whatsapp
- The events which the college clubs organise with tye celebrity appearance sometimes
- Learning skills being in the clubs and councils which college provides

- Campus is not that big according to what you may come with your expectations
- Maintenance and Management is a little poor
Course Curriculum Overview:
I chose BBA for management and it was no sobt a great choice because being in Chandigarh i thinki SD is the best option.
The curriculum and subjects are also worth it and accordingly.
The only thing they can improve is to be more practical rather than theory .
The exams are moderate with time given 3 hours

GGDSD College Chandigarh offers campus placement for their student's and college have multiple company's tie-up like: Google, Dell, Infosys, IBM, Airtel , TCS and many more.
College give full support for their student's.

- The faculty is great. The HOD is very cooperative. You can easily seek help
- There are regular seminars regarding all disciplines which also provides hands on knowledge
Dislikes
- The knowledge is mainly theoretical and the practical knowledge is least
- The exams are lengthy and often promote rote learning
Course Curriculum Overview:
Basically , the course overall is theoretical . You just get printed notes from the tuck shop , and you are just supposed to memorize it . The syllabus is repetitive from class 11th and 12th. I completed ny graduation in 2024 , and i still had to write my answers as per DSM - 4 criteria . So the syllabus needs to be updated

- College campus is good and clean and has good Library, reading room, and girls common room.
- Classes are okay. Infrastructure is okay. College has app which makes it easy to see attendance.
- Labs have all the necessary equipments and teachers are very supportive.
Dislikes
- There is no ACs in the classroom and there is no placement for biotechnology.
- Canteen is not good in SD college. It needs to be improved.
- Infrastructure needs to be improved and should have digital board also.

Curriculum is good and crisp. There are application based subjects as well. Also there are subjects which make you think about application. Timings of exam are 3 hours. And 1 unit has 2 questions and you have to attempt 1

- Exposure of meeting students from different states like Punjab, haryana , himacahal pradesh and uttar pradesh
- Difderent types of college events like virasat , riwayat , prom night that gives student new thing to make links
- Different college society that gives students to explore theit skillsand practical study approach towards students

- Internship oppurtunities by campus is not there
- Labs for IT cell should use new AI tools for study
- Canteen food should include more healthy snacks which will help outsiders
Placement Experience:
Placement cell of out college is quite good.
Placemenr drive generally start at the beginning of 5th semsterbof every 3 year course.
Companies like DELL, HDFC , ICICI BANK, ACCENTURE, DELLIOTE and many more came to provide employement.
Highest package after UG is 10 lakhs offered by company to our college student.

- GGDSD College Conducted Many Extra Curricular Activities Which Helped Students To Develop Their Personalities
- Teachers Were Qualified And Well Trained And Were Quite Friendly And Helped Me In All Of My Assignments
- Campus Is Very Neat And Tidy And There Is Greenery All Around The Campus And All The Blocks Are Very Near To Each Other

- GGDSD College Imposes Huge Amounts Of Fine For Missing MSTs And Lack Of Attendance
- Campus Area Is Very Small And The Main Ground Of College Is Very Small
Placement Experience:
From 5th Semester Students Are Eligible For Placements. Companies Like Deloitte, KPMG, Accenture, ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank And IBM. All The Placement Info Is On The Website Itself But The Requirement To Sit in Placements Is Atleast 75% Score In All Of The Sems Combined. My Score Was Not Above 75 So I'm Going For Off Campus Jobs.

- The college faculty and staff were very qualified and mostly were PHD's
- The college infrastructure was modern and had Wi-fi campus, the computer lab had latest devices for students.
- The college crowd and students were positive and helpful among others.
Dislikes
- Average hostel and food not up to the mark.
- Very less parking space for students creating fuss at peak timings.
- Air conditioning only for computers laps and not for regular classes.

PGDCA is a very uniquely designed course, and it could help the student to gain knowledge about important technologies quickly by practically applying their usage on live projects.

Medical is beautiful subject to learn and moreover It has two branches Zoology and Botany if we talk about biology only .the entire faculty members encourage students to relate their studies with practical as Science is a practical subject.
