Thiagarajar College of Engineering offers seven specializations under the B.Tech course. To be eligible, a candidate must have passed 10+2 in the Science stream. For selection, the candidate has to go for TNEA counselling.

How to apply for TNEA?
- Visit the Anna University website and fill out the registration form for TNEA
- A fee will be charged, which has to be paid online.
- Fill out the application with care. Incorrect or incomplete data will result in the candidate’s application being rejected.
- Take out a printout of the application form and send a copy to the Director of Admissions of Anna University.
- After the merit list is declared, candidates have to download the counselling call letter and visit the counselling venue with the necessary documents and a demand draft of 5,000 INR.
- After all processes are completed, an allotment order will be handed to the applicant. At this stage, the counselling fee has to be paid.
- The candidate has to report to their college and submit the allotment order to confirm their admission.

- The things that I first like about this college is the infrastructure of the building
- The staffs here are well trained and teach with perfection

- The gates here in the college are closed during college hours
- The cultural events are not conducted here which is a disappointment

The yearly fee that I pay for a merit management seat is 172000, while government aided seats pay 17500,there are many scholarships programs provided in the college like reliance etc .exam fee for each semester will be around 3000 to 5000 . The total fee will be around 175000 for management seats and for govt aided seats it will be 20000

- There are about 1000 trees in the campus and it is refreshing
- The social interaction in the campus is best,everyone has the strive to improve
Dislikes
- Madurai city is hot, so the temperature is little high
- There is only one food court that doesn’t provide many varieties

- In that college I like more clubs like dance club, music club, IoT club, tamil clube , etc
- In thiagarajar College of engineering the library will I love, because there are lot of books and magazines.

- I disliked thing one Is canteen facility.

I'm going through the table counseling and also avail of the first graduate scholarship, so my overall fee structure is to be around 50000 only. And the College semester exams conducted by the institution fee is 1000. The college institution will not charge fees.

My admission is merit so my fee is very less only. They gave me a scholarship for me it was very useful for me. The mode of fee amount is online so no need to stand queue and wait. It saved our time.

Government offered Scholarship. Not the College. I didn't avail any of the Scholarships. But I do know about them. For sportmans and physically challenged people They gave year payment. And for them whose parents have low annual income

Our college provides Alumni scholarship for students who are economically lagging for their fees. The scholarships are provided based on the annual income of the parents and economical situation of the family. It is very helpful for students. There is no loan facility provided in our college.
Fees and Financial Aid:
TCE Alumni scholarship is being provided every year to the poor students to take care of their studies. Apart from that government scholarship is also available for the students whose family is earning below 2.5Lakhs. To avail this scholarship who have to take seats from Anna University counselling. Management seat students are not eligible for this.
