- The things that I first like about this college is the infrastructure of the building
- The staffs here are well trained and teach with perfection
Dislikes
- The gates here in the college are closed during college hours
- The cultural events are not conducted here which is a disappointment
Faculty:
The faculty to student ratio is 3:1 . For every 30 students a tutor is assigned and the tutor conducts a meeting every week during the tutor ward hour . There are two continuous assessment tests and a semester exam for every semester

- There are about 1000 trees in the campus and it is refreshing
- The social interaction in the campus is best,everyone has the strive to improve
Dislikes
- Madurai city is hot, so the temperature is little high
- There is only one food court that doesn’t provide many varieties
Faculty:
Every student has a tutor with whom we can share our difficulties There are two internals , a model exam and terminals 90% of the students will pass the examinations The teaching is better than many colleges

- I like the facilities available in our college. In our dept we have around 7 Labs for our practical sessions equipped with latest systems.
- The faculty teaching us are well trained and very supportive.
Dislikes
- I personally doesnt like the timings of my college.
- We dont have any great culturals in our college.
Faculty:
The faculty members of our college are very friendly and well trained in their respective fields. The minimum qualifications to be a faculty our college requires the completion of phd and masters in their respective field.

- The way of teaching for students is excellent
- The professors give their knowledge to their all the time when students needs it
Dislikes
- Infrastructure is the main thing that i disliked because they are very old buildings
- Then there are many monkeys roaming around that also i don't like
Faculty:
Our college there are many PhD staffs and many professors,associate professor and assistant professor are there. Most of them are really skilled and humble to students. For each 30 students there is a mentor is available. Reaching out the staffs are very easy they are available at any time when we need anything regarding to our academic doubts and placement helps.
Faculty:
We can assess the faculty through what'sapp because every faculty will be in touch through what's app group so that we can have their number. If not we can get their mail id and number from our college website which is free to access. We can also meet them in person if we have any doubt they will be pleased to answer our doubts.

Friendly, extremely knowledgeable. We had faculties with all kinds of experiences. Our department HOD was a student of our own college and had almost 20 years of exeperience. Mode of teaching was very depth also using projector and screen when we needed. They encouraged taking notes in class rather giving hand outs latter so that students are attentive
Faculty:
The number of lecturers in mechanical stream is 30 with an average age of 35-45 and average qualification of B.E,M.E.Many of our faculties have published their journals, research papers, and have attended many conferences and some of them got their patents.Total there are 7 patents in our college.
Faculty:
There are approximately 40 lecturers in mechanical department and almost all are experienced and has PHD qualification. They're very skilled in their specific areas and clear the doubts of the students well. Majority of the staffs have industry certifications
Faculty:
Every faculty were well qualified and interested in teaching the course. They show extra interest in delivering the content and gives extra care. The clears every doubt and it was nice to be guided by them.
Faculty:
Every semester we used to have 6 theory subjects and 2 laboratory classes. None of the lectures was having any industrial work experience. We had highly qualified lectures but without any considerable work experience. The lecturers only had presented some thesis papers at the maximum.

Most of my friends studied here at Thiagarajar College. According to them, it is a very popular engineering institute. They all agree on one thing that the faculty is brilliant. Here are some of the best professors of this college.
- Dr. Sabapathy: One of the good and talented teachers. His teaching ways are interesting and unique. This helps understand all the concepts easily without having any doubts.
- Dr. Arunachalam: He is a teacher with unique teaching methods. Even some dry subjects like concrete technology also seem to be interesting when he teaches it.
- Prof. Suguns Seelan: He is an exceptional teacher especially in technology and computer applications. He provides practical information. He has developed the computer lab in the department helping to learn programming and coding.
- Dr.R.SanjayKumar: He is considered to be the best professor for soil mechanics. His teaching is interesting. He also includes practical examples. His classes have helped many students to prepare for GATE exams.
