HindujaS's Review On Thiagarajar College Of Engineering - [TCE], Madurai

It is my suggestion to choose the college when you have the chance. You will never regret the decision. Every opportunity and knowledge they gave me, I owe them. It was perfect. Even other state people chose it.

My college is autonomous. They made the syllabus, course structure and exam question papers. They were awesome and practical sessions were so impressive. The way they conduct and organize the classes and labs was good

It was so good. Placement officer gave us better opportunities. Good reputed Companies came and offered internships and full time job offers to the selected people. They always try to achieve 100% placement.

Sports intra and inter college events - in chess, badminton, hockey, cricket, basket ball, table tennis Technical symposium and non technical cultural events for every departments Conducted so many courses for other college students. NSS events like Blood Donation Camp

In my time, It was feasible. Like other colleges, Hostel fees are quite high. Food is good. Feast was given twice the semester. Semester fees, Exam fees and Year Faculty fees were there. But for the next batch it was increased.

Government offered Scholarship. Not the College. I didn't avail any of the Scholarships. But I do know about them. For sportmans and physically challenged people They gave year payment. And for them whose parents have low annual income

I was in the women chess team. We participated in so many tournaments. There is no diversity among we people. We were like a family worked together for the betterment. There is support from college.

4 per room. Rules were there like students have to reach hostel before 6:30 for girls. Study hours was there. They even provided Neem juice to prevent fever twice the week. The Rooms were kept clean.

Importantly, There is no ragging. They were like brothers and sisters. They have no ego between juniors. They were so helpful when it comes to both technical or non technical. We are still connected.

After the results of HSC, registered for Anna University Engineering Counseling. We got to wait until the rank list and random number they released. Then We had to choose the college and course. I chose Electronics coz, I could choose both core jobs and software jobs.

In my course, most of the faculty are doctorates in electronics. They are so friendly and clarified the doubts and queries patiently. Every one of them is unique when it comes to teaching. They were good.
