Course Details
Thiagarajar College of Engineering offers seven specializations under the B.Tech course. To be eligible, a candidate must have passed 10+2 in the Science stream. For selection, the candidate has to go for TNEA counselling.

How to apply for TNEA?
- Visit the Anna University website and fill out the registration form for TNEA
- A fee will be charged, which has to be paid online.
- Fill out the application with care. Incorrect or incomplete data will result in the candidate’s application being rejected.
- Take out a printout of the application form and send a copy to the Director of Admissions of Anna University.
- After the merit list is declared, candidates have to download the counselling call letter and visit the counselling venue with the necessary documents and a demand draft of 5,000 INR.
- After all processes are completed, an allotment order will be handed to the applicant. At this stage, the counselling fee has to be paid.
- The candidate has to report to their college and submit the allotment order to confirm their admission.

Fees and Financial Aid:
Fees structure is Management cota -1.45 lakhs By counseling Self- 55000 Government- 15100. The first graduate scholarship is acceptable. And govt scholarship available. For poor and intelligent students scholarships available from college management.

Three types of admissions take place with. Through merit under government quota, the fees are around 10K. Self-finance goes around 30K. And we have a merit management system. Our college provides first graduate scholarship, community scholarships, scholarships for girl students, sports scholarships and many. We are assured with high-end job opportunities at the end of the course.

I never got any scholarships. The college gave scholarships only for the economically poor students.

There are other scholarship available for the students to help themselves. Since i didn't avail any of the scholarships, i don't know much about this. But i know, some of my friends have availed the scholarship and loan facility also

We can get tamilnadu governor scholarship every year by applying. And we can also get alumini scholarship which is offered by our institute alumini. Every year they conduct the interview and select the students for this scholarship

Our college has an alumuni committee.They give scholarships to the needy and bright students. And also government aided students also get scholarships. I am not aware of any loan facilities provided by my college

There are many scolarship which are community wise scolarship and first graduate sholarship and alumni scholarship which are very good for economically back ward students and it is approchable and the loan facility is also good
