Sethu Institute of Technology is an autonomous engineering college, affiliated to Anna University. The institute was established in 1995 and awarded the Autonomous status in 2012 by UGC. It has also been awarded an ‘A’ grade accreditation by NAAC and is also recognized by the NBA. With a present strength of 4800 students, SIT offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses across varied streams of engineering and sciences. Admission to the UG courses are based on TNEA counselling and admission to the PG courses is done on the basis of TANCET scores
The application process for admission at Sethu Institute of Technology is done in online mode. Interested candidates need to fill and submit the online application form available at the college website.

Sethu Institute of Technology Placements 2023
The institute has a very active and efficient training and placement cell (TPC), headed by the Vice-Principal of the institute. In addition to conducting recruitment drives, the placement cell also offers services for the all-around development of the students and assists them in landing their desired jobs.
TPC conducts internal and external training sessions for the students to train and prepare them to crack job interviews. Internal training includes schooling students on general aptitude, technical, communication, and soft skills. External training includes company-specific preparation and training for interviews.

- Central Library: The college library has a large collection of books, periodicals, digital audio and video, e-books, and online courses available for the students and faculty. The library offers access to NPTEL, DELNET, British Council Library, and AIRC-American Information Resource Centre.
- Hostel & Mess: The college provides hostel and canteen facilities to its students. Separate hostels are available for girls and boys with a capacity of 4 students per room. Hostels have an uninterrupted power supply, water facility, and essential store facility. Additionally, Tv rooms, yoga halls, and gymnasium are also available inside the hostels.
- Sports: Institute has facilities for both indoor and outdoor sports and games. Required space and equipment for activities such as football, basketball, volleyball, hockey, cricket, handball, and kabaddi are available.
- Laboratories: The campus has laboratories equipped with all the necessary equipment.
- Transport Facility: The institute has deployed 75 buses to offer transport facilities covering about 60kms to students and staff. For students staying in hostels, transport facility is available on weekends up to 100 km.

The eligibility of my course is 1st group with maths , physics and chemistry subject. And 50% of marks in all subjects The application form is find in the college portal ,the application form fees is 500 per students ,it's available after the state board exam finished

The admission process was simple. I visited the college personally and filled out all the forms. I also submitted the necessary documents for review. College staff will be there to help if we get stuck in any place. A minimum cutoff was required

The eligibility for the engineering course is first we must study the science group in school time. The application form will be provided in the college administration office or the office in Anna Nagar Madurai. All staff are working well in the college and for the admission process.

This course is eligible for NBA. It is a very famous course in our college. Application fees are 500 rupees only. This course is a very well-known course in our college Sethu Institute of Technology, Kariapatti, Virudhunagar District.
Admission:
I did choose the BE Biomedical Engineering and was eligible for you're studied science group in your schools such as Biomaths or Computer science. I applied the TNEA counseling so that I get more details and contact my college for further details. I need an improvement in the process, cause taking too much time.

The last year cut-off was 5128 - 11070 and thus with 120 marks in TANCET you can surely achieve a rank better or similar to the same.
The total fees for BE CSE is INR 2,00,000 for 4 years and INR 50,000 per year.
Yes, you can get admission in the second year but you must have a valid score in the TNEA exam to be eligible.
