Yeah, its good. The environment here is also good. One who has the ability to learn something can benefit from here as it provides excellent practical labs. The placement opportunities here are also good, especially for branches such as ECE, CSE, and ISE.
The college provides internships and always offers the best guidance and support to each and every student.

Dislikes

Unfortunately, they did not have the concept of an internship in those days when I graduated.
As far as I know, there were no scholarships or loan facilities offered by the college.

And labs should improve little but comparatively fine

Teachers are very friendly and they help everyone if we don't understand or we don't get there point they explain once till we got. So I am very thankful to them and one thing that principal was very friendly and kind hearted
Every teacher take responsibility and if a student is not good at scoring or reading they creat a group for them nd teach them separately I m impressed about that

Dislikes

There is no negative thoughts about our college
Sometimes they don't give funds I applied alumin scholarships in our college it is only for single parent they won't give i disappointed about this

Placement Experience:

In our college there are number rod companies which will arrive and select number of students for their company who are capable of the skills and abilities which are required for the particular position in their companies.On the overall basis I would say that my college is one ofthe best college in mysore for the purpose of placements and so on

College environment as it is filled with more number or trees and greenery
Faculties they are student friendly and helpful us with all problems

Dislikes

Washroom cleanliness is not maintained which is difficult for us to use it
College hours will be hectic like from 7.30 morning to 5.30 in evening it should be reduced

Placement Experience:

So in our college we will be eligible to apply for companies in 3rd year itself which is so helpful for us to grab an idea on how placement and interviews take place highest package is 45lpa and the average is like 6 to 7 lpa so around 70 to 80% students will be placed in our college and many number of companies also arrived which will select number of students from our colllege

Electronics and Instrumentation branch is truly underrated!

Likes

Fees is affordable and the faculty are qualified enough
Infrastructure is good. Instrumentation labs are in golden jubilee block

Dislikes

Sports facilities is not great needs improvement

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is extremely relevant and interesting. The instrumentation lab experience would be really relevant to the industry's needs. Since communication subjects can be taken as electives it would be better to choose electronics and instrumentation than electronics and communication.

My experience of pursuing Computer Science Engineering at SJCE Mysore

Likes

The first thing apart from academics that attracted me was the lush green campus.It is a 117 acres of pure Beauty.This plays a huge role in detoxifying oneself.
The structured curriculum and well educated staff.Well qualified staff teach the students various subjects and leave no room for doubt.

Dislikes

The hassle for reevaluations.despjte being easier and well sought compared to other vtu colleges this process may cost one and also create hassles.
It might be the issue for most of the colleges but a minor discomfort is the concept of attendance which has to be satisfied to a minimum criteria which maybe 75% or varied for various branches.

Placement Experience:

The campus placements are decent despite the market going into recession the placement cell is very active and continuously brings offers.The average package for the CS department can be 12lpa also my plans after the degree would be to get a job and work for a few years later pursue an MBA.

Enjoying with friends and making fun everytime and enjoying the academics tol
Parking the vehicles which made many facilities and a security was allocated for safety of vehicles and the big fest jayciana.

Dislikes

The canteen in the campus was not a that much satisfied food and the price was bit high.
Giving assignments is the biggest problem of all the students.

In our college many companies will come and many students will get jobs successfully every year. An average package of 10-12 Lpa. An average of 98% of students get a job. My plans after getting my degree are to be placed in a very good company and offer an onsite and work in foreign.

The thing i liked is the atmosphere, people and cooperative and the study environment and coding environment is pretty well.
The library is very nice and contains all the books that a student needs

Dislikes

The mess food is very bad and hardly edible.
The exams they conduct includes 5 internals and one sem end exam which keeps us busy the whole.year

Placement Experience:

From the 5th semester onwards students get eligible for college placement and also. it depends upon the company's demand. The highest package last year was 43 lakhs and the average package for the tech branch will be 15-16 lakhs. Almost 90% of students get placed

Likes

The campus is nice and well maintained and is cleaned oftenly
The placements are good and most of the students get placed

Since of the faculty members are a little rude

Placements start in the sixth semester. There are various companies that visited and recruited the students like BOSCH, Sandvine, Intel, mercedes benz etc.More than 80% of students get placed on campus placements. I am planning to find a better job that fits my passion

The things I liked in my college is it has a beautiful campus ,great sports facilities , great students.
One more thing I like about my college is it's vibe and maturely environment

Dislikes

The things I dislike Hostel food , exam pattern strictness

In our college students become eligible for placement from third year 6th sem .. companies start coming from 6 sem for internships and placements .. this year our placement season went very good very high amount offers where made . The highest package was around 50lac And avg package was around 15lac.the percentage of students getting placed are approximately 92%
