Eligibility Criteria
A candidate shall have passed HSC (10+2) with minimum 45% marks (40% for SC/ST/SEBC/EWS) of theory (or theory and practical) marks of Physics & Mathematics as compulsory subjects with (Chemistry or Biology or Technical Vocational subject) from a single board. Candidate shall also appear in GUJCET -2020 examination in respective subjects. The candidate shall pass the HSC examination from schools located in Gujarat from any board from GSEB, CBSE, ISCE, Cambridge, International Baccalaureate (IB) or NIOS.

- This is government college so their college fees is less so i can afford it.
- There is hostel facility with less amount of fees.

- College infrastructure was to old and required renovation
- There is no placement guarantee. In our batch there only 50 % students gets placement.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The Curriculum is good except 1st and 2nd semester. In this two-semester curriculum are not really related to the course. There is no real-world application or further academic pursuits in curriculum preparation.

- Campus, faculties,SSIP ,supportive environment, especially computer department is great
- Campus faculties are good they recently organised a expert session from apple senior sde who taught us that DSA is important

- Overall everything is good but some hostel infra can be improved
- Lighting in night can be improved so we can walk around freely

We recently got new syllabus for new branch ai ml but in the first year we learnt about general subjects and it's total waste, they say you should be Jack of all but it is just an excuse not to change and redesign the curriculum.after that the syllabus is good we learn about os,oops ,DSA which are essential so they are good.

Course Curriculum Overview:
Course curriculum is not that much applicable to the real world job ready application we have to learn and develop skills on our own to be successful as there is only basic languages and core things are there in course which will not that much helpful in understanding their actual implementation.there should be course developed in such a way that students get to know what is happening in world right now and accordingly they study.Midterm Exams are taken once in semester and one final exam at the end of semester level of exam is moderate.

- L.D. College of engineering is Gujarat 's best government college of engineering. It provides good education and opportunities to students.
- It provides very good environment and placement opportunities.
Dislikes
- It has limited hostel addmission.There are too many students who are struggling to live in Ahmedabad.
- Due to one of the old College of Gujarat, some buildings need to improve.
Course Curriculum Overview:
I'm in computer & choose it cause i always interested in it. If talk about student-teacher relationship it's different in person. Acedemic exams are taking by GTU and it's not so easy not so hard. It's depends on your learning. Faculties are well qualified and dedicated plus encourages you.

- Arrangements of various webinars and industrial experts talks frequently.

- Needs renovation in Classes and in some labs as well
- Organized merely zero tech fest in past few years.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The Curriculum of my stream includes fundamental subjects that help to build core understanding and logic. Hands-on labs are conducted for the implementation of fundamental theory portions of the curriculum.

- I liked the atmosphere and culture of LD college , it is very much competitive, and also students of LD are building their skills
- I also liked the faculty support in computer department

- I believe in continuous evaluation , which is not provided yet in LD
- Sometimes I feel that there are very less facilities provided by the college

Yeh actually I believe that the course curriculum needs improvement, as there are many new technologies as well as subjects which can be thaught to students to improve skills and placement competition.

- Thing I like is the cooperative faculties.
- The quality of teaching methods and the differnt clubs.

- There are not so much sports activities .
- Paper checking is rough and tough and not good for students.
Course Curriculum Overview:
Our curriculum is not too much good for real world based scenarios as ut too much focus on theory rather than practical knowledge. The time interval during exams are also too much which waste our extra time.

- Clubs, social gatherings, functions, supporting faculties.
- Sports, grounds, food, too much diversity.

- Language barrier between students Gujarati and other language.
- Campus being old so it needs renovatio.
Course Curriculum Overview:
In LDCE there are too many types of courses. In IT and Computer, there are almost 100% chance that you will get internship and placement through campus. Machanical and civil are also gives good placements. Other some branches like core branch is not that much good.
