From the 7th semester of their 4th year, students at IET become eligible for campus placements, with participation from well-known companies like BYJU'S, MYNTRA, FACEBOOK, TCS, and TECH MAHINDRA. Approximately 80 to 90% of students secure jobs through these placements. In the IT branch, the highest salary package can reach 27 LPA, while the lowest is 8 LPA, and the average ranges from 6 to 8 LPA. Companies such as Google, TCS, and Byju's also offer internships, often leading to high-paying job opportunities.
IET collaborates on various projects with both government and private sectors in IT. The IT branch charges higher fees compared to other branches like Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Computer Science Engineering, with IT fees around 95k and others around 80k. Lateral entry students can avail a scholarship from the Samaj Kalyan Vibhag, ranging from 50k to 60k. Furthermore, the IET India scholarship offers approximately 5 lakh to undergraduate engineering students, spread over their 1st to 4th years.
