My friend is an alumnus of IET Lucknow and according to him, with a rank of 5915, it will be hard to get Chemical Engineering. In his year, only a few general category students received Chemical in the fifth round with a general rank greater than 6k. However, because the scenario changes every year, there is no certainty that you will get it. Also, given HBTI's split from UPSEE, getting into IET with this rank appears to be extremely difficult. It's all a matter of luck. According to the cutoff trends in recent years, the required cutoff for the Chemical branch is 2856 for General Category.

I would strongly suggest you not settle for any random private college with this rank. It would be better to take a year drop. However, if you have other options such as JEE Mains, you can try private colleges like LNMIIT, Thapar, etc.

The fess of IET Lucknow is very minimal it has two group of fees structure first group is of cse regular , ece , electrical, mechanical , civil and chemical it's fess is around 145000 and the other group contain cse self finance and cse ai they have a slightly more fess than other precisely 15000 more.....and the the fess is slightly increasing per year

The fee structure is quite good , if you have a good rank and belong from poor class family, they provide you tuition fee waiver in which you don't have to pay the tuition fee and there is a course names computer science (self-financed) in that you have to pay 10,000 extra money than other courses like chemical , civil , cs(ai) ... Hostel fee is also reasonable which is 14500 and they take 4000 as a caution money .and mess fee is 20000 per semester.

Know about IET Lucknow

The fees structure of IET Lucknow is total tution fees is 89775 and for FW students it could might be 15000 . Now we talk about hostel fees so it is 14500 for a year and 20000 mess fees for 6 months. There may be increment in mess fees because last year mess was 17000 but this they increase 3000 so it is expected that they will increase the mess fees next year . There is same fees for all category. In scholarship everyone gets easily. General obc gets 60k - 70k and sc / st gets 100k approx

The college is autonomous so, the college faculty designs its own curriculum according to the students' needs.
As it is a government college, the course fee is affordable and reasonable.

Dislikes

Except for the CSE branch, almost every branch has a tough academic life here.

The annual fee for the B.Tech program for all years is 84,775 which includes Tuition fees, examination fees, user charges and TPC fees. This fee is applicable to all categories. The hostel fess is around 14,500 annually and 20K mess fee per semester and 4K Hostel Management fee for odd semester is to be paid separately The scholarship provided to general and obc category students is around 50K-55K while for SC, ST category it is 95K-98K.
