I don't know because I am in first year but here every professor try their best to make student understand every concept and their application. The lab work and practicals are so fun to do . The timing of each subject and lab is very good .

My course is BTech in chemical engineering in this course students can work in many fields as like in today's now there were most of the uses of chemicals in daily routine from morning to evening such as toothpaste soap and other things which are made from chemicals. For food preservation we also use chemicals. For travelling we use fuel which also contains chemical process. As conclusion we can say that chemistry and chemicals are the basic needs for the human in daily life.

I chose chemical engineering because I had an interest in it from early time. The faculty of the college is so good and the professors are well-educated and Ph.D. degree holders. The student ratio is also good. Term exams are held thrice in a semester two mid sem and one end sem.

IET Lucknow is a good option if it's the last option for you. Chemical engineering is not up to the mark. Having friends from IET Lucknow and online reviews here are some tips for you –

What IET Lucknow is good for is that you get a lot of holidays here and one can easily prepare for various competitive exams as all coaching centers are near so in a way it opens career options because of its location. Or you can try internships.
Join here if you are not getting HBTI or any good NIT or IIT.
You must have to go for the fifth round of counseling to change your branch. But if you are hard-working then you can easily change the branch by maintaining an S.G.P.A of 8.5 approximately.
If you are unable to do so, you will regert it during the placements as even the most well-known NITs do not provide decent packages for students pursuing Chemical Engineering. Another option you have is only the GATE exam that is one of the most preferred gateways by students for getting admission.
The following data can be obtained for the Chemical Engineering branch in IET Lucknow as per the recent data:
Total Fees | 3.44 Lakhs |
Cut-off rank to get admission | For general category- 2366 to 2856; For OBC- 2889 to 3435; For SC- 9084 to 12846 |

IET is the known as Institute for ESE and GATE aspirants. Join some coaching for your GATE and work hard to convert all your dreams into reality by getting the desired branch in the college preferred by you.
My friend is an alumnus of IET Lucknow and according to him, with a rank of 5915, it will be hard to get Chemical Engineering. In his year, only a few general category students received Chemical in the fifth round with a general rank greater than 6k.
However, because the scenario changes every year, there is no certainty that you will get it. Also, given HBTI's split from UPSEE, getting into IET with this rank appears to be extremely difficult. It's all a matter of luck.
According to the cutoff trends in recent years, the required cutoff for the Chemical branch is 2856 for General Category.
Decide a branch that you prefer, after that go through the colleges of that particular branch. Pay attention to the college’s overall performance, placements, faculties, location, etc. as they are the major factors.

The scenarios may change in the coming future. It is important to talk to recently passed out students of these colleges to know the current scenarios before making the decision.
Honestly, the answer is No. One of my friends was in a similar situation and he did not get admission with a rank closer to this.
With the GNGL rank of 2,500, it would be very difficult for you to get into the chemical engineering program at IET Lucknow. The general rank is way higher.
I would strongly suggest you not settle for any random private college with this rank. It would be better to take a year drop.
However, if you have other options such as JEE Mains, you can try private colleges like LNMIIT, Thapar, etc.
