Likes

Students can get scholarships like swami vivekananda merit cum means scholarship.
Companies like tcs, wipro, info, tejas network, grant thomson, pwc india, ibm, etc, and the placement percentage is also so good approx 90 percent of students get placed.
The campus is so beautiful and peaceful . the natural environment is there so i liked it

Dislikes

Fees is little bit high so it is a problem for a middle class guy
From the last 3 year's there is no fest organized due to students fight
There are no boys hostel inside campus which is not good

A brief intro on my college

Likes

I got a huge opportunity after getting into this college.
I really think my branch ece is better than others according to scopes and facilities like research.
Overall a good campus life. Yupp and the sports part are interesting. Also there is a meditation centre.

Dislikes

I guess the class atmosphere can get better.
The administration never listen to the students.
I guess for me communication is the biggest pressure in my college life. So here's a lotore to say really .

Placement Experience:

After 5 th sem the companies start to come . TCS, cognizant and some core companies come to our college. Around 50% of the students get placed. On campus highest package was 15 to 20 lakh per annum. But average is 2.5 lpa. I just want to get placed.

The campus is very good here.Faculty members are helpful too.

Placement Experience:

College placement is moderate . You can get placed if your cgpa is good . I didn't think right now about education after this degree . It depends upon placement . But internship is must actually so focus on that .

In my department faculty is very good polite. Three play grounds are also there. Overall placement record is also good.
Canteen area is clean and food is also cheep and good.
college provides scholarships and summer internships for students.

Dislikes

College overall fees is very high and no college annual feast is organished.
Lads are no updated poor quality labs in civil department.
student teacher coordination is very less

Placement Experience:

Overall placement is good in my batch total 80 student are eligable for placement. Many core engineering companies like WOOD plc,WORELY,DCPL,PINNACLE etc come in out college.You can sit for non-core IT companies also.Highest pakage for core branch is around 7LPA.

Heritage Institute of Technology: A Detailed Observation

Likes

The placement cell is quite competent here and many mainstream companies come to hire students.
The faculties are quite helpful and sincere in their respective roles and are highly qualified
The infrastructure is quite sound and up to the mark with the top tier colleges.

Dislikes

The campus life should've been a bit more lively

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for campus placements from third year that is after 5th semester. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant and IBM are amongst the mass hirers. Almosy 80 percent of the students get placed every year and the top 10 percent of the students receive high paying job offers. The average package is around 4.86 LPA and in 2023, the highest package was 16 LPA and in 2022, the highest package was 44 LPA. Talking about my future plans, I wish to pursue my masters abroad after completing my undergraduate course here.

HIT KOLKATA - explained briefly

After 6 months of my experience in this college and hostel, i would day the environment of the college is quite friendly.
some of the professors are really good and supportive. They will be ready to help you whenever you contact them.
Library of HITK is a place where you will love spending time. You may find books related to your academic request here.

Dislikes

If you are coming here with the expectations of life like NIT , IIT wala life then my dear the college environment gonna hurt you.
No fests and big celebs will be coming to your college
Being in hostel too, you will not be able to enjoy the night out experience freely

Placement Experience:

Placement scenario of the college is good. Many good companies like mindtree , IBM etc visit our college . it all depends on the student's talent and luck . Some brilliant minds are also doing internships from the second year of the college and other are being unplaced throughout the 4 yrs. The placement drive starts right from the 7th semester. CGPA sometimes plays an important role for good companies

There is a good compus. A lot of things have been there to do ...
There are playground to play football table tennis badminton.
Education quality is very good. Faculty are much better.

Dislikes

It could not allowed the college students from gate no. 1
There are no any dress in the college during any classes
There no any rent room near the college and no boys hotel inside the college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am getting to rate this college out of 80 out of 100. Thats because the quality of education is much better than other private college but there are something lack in the fest of event or any other such activities

The large green campus, friendly environment, large library, good lab facilities
Very helpful teachers, good department, less fees structure in comparison with other colleges.
Good placements in courses like computer science and others

Dislikes

Not good placements for stream like Biotechnology specially if you are doing masters
The location of the campus is quite outskirt
Placements in master degree could be better

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is good but opportunity of biotechnology in west bengal as well as in India is quite low in comparison with other courses. You have to upgrade yourself by doing internships and training and other skills learning process

Likes

Classes are big, teachers are supportive in nature.
Big playgrounds, games like table tennis, football, basketball ball are there to play.
The environment is good there in the college. No ragging takes place inside the college campus.

Dislikes

No any fest happens in the college. one of the area where this college lags behind.
Students are restricted to take laptops to the college till their 1st year.

Placement Experience:

After 6th or 7th semester the students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like cognizant, Wipro, TCS visited here and there are various offers made then. Many students were getting placements for an average of 700000. About 80% students got their placements from this college.

Good College

Likes

I like the way of their teaching and the conversations with the students attraction
I like the way hoe they handle a student situations when they were in a problem.
They were very much supportive for the situations whatever came to their students , they will handle that very enthusiasticly.

Dislikes

Too much unsupportive to college fest purposes.
They were dislike the events for cultural activities.
They were disagree to the cultural and innovative ideas for events which will give an energetic move to the students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

When I went first day in my college and have my seat . My department was ECE and at that moment I was very nervous that what will happen to the next 4 years of college life with this stream.But when I continue with my subjects and dealing with my teachers it looks very easy and good.

Campus is very big and it is good to chill out with friends
Infrastructure is nice and environment is healthy

Canteen is overpriced and little taste is also not good
Travelling is little difficult near college with your vechile.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is bit old for today's generation. But u have to learn on yourself also . U can take help from faculty for your doubts. Areas of improvement is practical knowledge. Frequency of exams is may and November.

Heritage Institute of Technology is the best private college in Kolkata with good campus life. A senior of mine is an alumnus of the college and he always speaks about its infrastructure, placements, and campus facilities.

Location: - It is located near the prime market of Kolkata making it well connected to communication services.
Fees: - The fess has been increased slightly but if admission is granted you’re are eligible to apply for a study loan
Labs: - All the facilities and the technologies in the lab are up to date and well equipped for ease of handling by the students.
Professors: - all the professors are highly experienced, some with a Ph.D. degree, and they are well known and acknowledged in society.
Library: - Fully stacked with books, articles, research papers and has access to many foreign libraries accessing outside files.

The campus has a huge ground and it also has a large pond. It has a very well-maintained infrastructure. They also provide students with all the necessary facilities. The canteen serves very well but it is really expensive. But overall it is manageable for students.
