Campus is very big and it is good to chill out with friends

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is bit old for today's generation. But u have to learn on yourself also . U can take help from faculty for your doubts. Areas of improvement is practical knowledge. Frequency of exams is may and November.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 500000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The semester wise payment is Rs. 69500. The registration fees is Rs 5000. the caution fees is Rs 10000.which is refundable. My batchmates are also paying same for every respective branches. There is one scholarship for local students which Is Svcmm.

Campus Life

Campus Life is okaish . U can bunk the classes as well and hangout with your friends in college. There are canteen as well as cafeteria in which u can hangout. There are sorts activities in which u can participate and play at college level

Admission

I have given wbjee exam and got 3000 rank approx . I have got suggestions from relative about this college. This college is descent from all angles admission process is on the basis of rank and cut off criteria is there.

Faculty

Faculty members are good . They are helpful. Faculty to student ratio is 2:1. There are two exams in a year for each sem of 60 marks each . Some students get failed which don't study. Exams are little difficult

Night Life

There are gym near the college in which u can get enrolled monthly and exercise well. I have taken admission in private hostel . So there are little restrictions but u can live peacefully. Famous hangout places:- mall, pond area , cafeteria

Placement in our college is descent . Students typically become eligible for campus placement starting from the 5th Semester. For CSE/IT companies like TCS,CTS ,WIPRO, ACCENTURE etc... come for the placements. For Core branches like EE,ECE,ME Companies like L &T ,samsung, TATA Steel etc...come for offers. The highest package is around 8 to 10 LPA and the average is around 4 to 5 LPA. 70% to 80% of RCCIIT generally get placed across varios department. My plan is to persue MS from abroad/.

Students become eligible for campus placement starting from 6th semester ,meanwhile u can also get paid internship from 5th semester itself .The companies which visited the campus most frequently are Cognizant ,TCS ,Infosys ,IBM ,PwC ,BMC ,Tavisca ,Wipro ,Amazon .Tavisca provided over 12 LPA while BMC provided over 14 LPA ,meanwhile in 2024 ,a new record of highest package emerged which is of 21 LPA.The Average package is 480,000 rupee CTC .Over 80 to 90% of students are placed and the college has a very good alumni network which provides u with referrals and possible jobs.I plan to join a IT company after getting my degree

Good for placements, excellent hostel life and good to learn, apply and fun. A college for all round development.

Placement Experience:

Placement ratio of the college is very good, cadets start getting placements from 2nd year but majorly the mass placement process starts from 3rd year. The packages ranges from 400-1200 USD as an engine cadet. There are major companies such as CHEVRON, MSC, DYNAGAS, NYK, FLEET MANAGEMENT, PACIFIC BASIN, MOL, IOCL, ZODIAC MARITIME, TORM TANKERS, etc that visit the college for placements every year. I know Global institute of technology and management college where I started my Btech in mechanical engineering course is one of the great college in west Bengal for Btech but in these period during lock down causes of covid 19 our classes are not going very well. But although teachers are doing there best for teaching us all subjects and they also supporting us all the time. So I thik this will be a new experience with all of this. Hi I am a student in hit kolkata.Admission is taken through both wbjee and jee main score. Especially for computer science a rank of around 4000 can secure you a place ,may vary a little bit. Talking about the application form it will come on the wbjee web page .Application fee is 500. Application dates will be updated on the official website. There are reservation benefits in college based on category,family income like twf in which semester fees is reduced. Before admission process there ocurrs 2 round of counselling and a mop up round.Then the admission in which a amount of around 70000 is paid through cash or online medium. Coming to the college aspect the main things to talk about are infrastructure,teaching and teachers, food ,water .And all these things are pretty good.There are some more needs like sports facilities so there is playground in which you can play.There is also some programs keep happening at certain times to keep your mind free after hours of classes. Unveiling HITK

So, basically i gave all engineering exams and i got good marks in jee as well as in wbjee but waiting for jee councelling to get decent college of my choice unfortunately i did not got what i was expecting and thus throung my jee marks i got admission in hitk which is also a decent college. Talking about the application form u will find in wbjee websiteand its fees is 500 rs also application dates are available in the website itself .
