Course Curriculum Overview

I wanted to do job in software development so I wanted to take CSE but ended up taking IT . This branch also focuses on software development . Exams are moderate here not so tough and also not easy . Some student who doesn't take exams seriously they can fail otherwise the exams are not that tough.

Class Size: 65Course Fees: INR 139000 per year

Internships Opportunities

The main company comes here is TCS . I don't know much about intership till now . So I'll not say about this much but people get placed I heard that . It depends on your college and your performance in academics .

Placement Experience

College placement is moderate . You can get placed if your cgpa is good . I didn't think right now about education after this degree . It depends upon placement . But internship is must actually so focus on that .

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is comparatively low to other private colleges.Scholarship like svmcm is available here.Facilities are good here and faculty members are good too.The fee structure is same for students of ebjee or jee main.

Campus Life

Cultural Fest has happened in September . After that many small functions and significant days are celebrated here . Library of Heritage is actually very good...books are available here . No need to buy any book...you will get every book here available .

Admission

I got confirmed admissions from MAKAUT and Serampore but I choose Heritage because I saw this college has much good ratio than others . I also heard about Heritage frequent times . As you all know every college has their own cutoff...Heritage is not exceptional .

Faculty

Faculty us very good here and they are very helpful. They are available when we need them.Here we have two semesters in a year. They are moderate actually...not very easy.Majority students are also good and helpful.

Night Life

Canteen closes at 6 pm and library at 8:30 pm . Campus is beautiful here . Auditorium is also very good here and many grounds are here . So you can roam anywhere in the college but at night it is not safe actually outside the college but inside it's safe .

Placements at haldia institute of technology are moderate and improving espicially in cse It Aiml and ECE core branches like ME EE CE FT placements are nearly limited and many students are relatively limited and many students explore off campus opportunities higher studies or skill based jobs Highest package is 10-12 LPA average package is 5-6 LPA 80-90% students gets placed off or in campus placement Cse aiml it Ds get better placement then the core branches get placed decent

Reality check

Placement Experience:

The students of 4th year are eligble for placements. Companies like TCS, capgemini, LTI mindtree have visited last year for campus placement. I ont have any official data about placdments but afer talking with seniors i can say that usually average package is of around 4 Lakhs Per Annum.

The Most Detailed Review of Narula Institute of Technology, Kolkata

Placement Experience:

The senario of placement in all of the private colleges of West Bengal are more or less the same. Majority of the students are placed in Service Based Companies like TCS, Wirpo, Infosys, HCL, Accenture, Cognizent, Capgemini, Tech Mahindra, etc. These companies offer anywhere from 3.6 to 6 lpa packages. Only a handful of Product based companies come in these private colleges and cherry pick 2-3 student per college only. This is the reality of all the private colleges, not just our college. If you want to crack a high paying job, you will have to do it off campus. The students are eligible for internships from the 6th semester itself. The college does try to provide internship to students but only a few students end up getting the internships and most students need to find internships on their own. Some companies which came in 24-25 session which offered an internship and PPO are Amazon, SAP Labs, Accenture, etc. For a detailed placement stat, go to our college's website and look for training and placement stats. The college is honest in putting these stats. The stats are mostly reliable. The highest off campus placement in 24-25 session was by Snehadeep De, who secured a SDE role in Amazon with 47 lpa CTC. This was off campus so the college had no role to play here. The highest on campus placement was by two students in the company Juspay. They were offered the SDE role for 27 lpa CTC. The average placement of all the CS branches will be around 5-6 lpa. And approximately around 60-65% of the students get placed. This is the ground reality. And its the same in all of the WB private colleges. If you want to keep a backup option in case you don't want to get a 3.6 lpa job then start preparing for GATE, CAT or Civil Services from your second year. Its always preferred to have a backup option cause you can't trust a private college for providing you jobs.

My Graduation experience from UEM,Kolkata

Placement Experience:

From 6 semester students become eligible for placement but if not trained individually by doing courses from coursera or YouTube then one cannot crack exams. College forces everyone to do a course from coursera every semester in order to get a job. And some companies like Accenture stoped hiring mid way, and Wipro did not reply after 2nd round only releasing the shortlisted student list for interview, and no interview were scheduled few companies like LT midtree and cognizant DN program gave placement opportunities with LT mindtree hiring 25-30 students and DN program being the only mass hiring opportunity . The average package being 4.5-4lpa only. Till now i did not get any reply of rejection or selection process mail from cognizant and wipro, and college has no answers. Now i have to bridge my skills after college according to company to get a job.

Students can became eligible for placement from 7th semester 4th year.Many company require a minimam cgpa of 8 and no active backlog. They conduct some Aptitude test coding test Technical Interview and Hr interview. Many top company visit TMSL like TCS,Cognizant,IBM,LTI Mindtree, HCL etc. Lowest package about 2.5 lpa and average package was about 4lpa and highest package about 10lpa. CSE & IT have highest placement rate compare to core branch .

Harsh but Honest

Course Curriculum Overview:

this college comes under MAKAUT university.it follows makaut syllabus.I chose this couse because this was the most hyped course at that time.faculties are average.as this is a very small college faculty student ratio is okay.i dont know much about faculty qualification.i think the HOD's are qualified but the teachers are not because i have to study all the syllabus from youtube.but the teachers are very helpfull.they are flexible in attendance.term exam were quite difficult because i am not good in cheating.now they have also cctv camera so now it is impossible for me to cheat.so i have to study the entire syllabus to pass.terms exams werre taken timely

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

Unveiling HITK

So, basically i gave all engineering exams and i got good marks in jee as well as in wbjee but waiting for jee councelling to get decent college of my choice unfortunately i did not got what i was expecting and thus throung my jee marks i got admission in hitk which is also a decent college. Talking about the application form u will find in wbjee websiteand its fees is 500 rs also application dates are available in the website itself .
