Heritage Institute of Technology is among the best private colleges in Kolkata, India. The B.Tech degree in different fields provides really nice placement oppurtunities to the students. The annual fees per year for the undergraduate bacheloratte degree programme can be divided into the following. At the time of admission, Gen/SC/ST/EWS Students have to pay a one time fees of INR 1,02,700 which includes Tuition Fees (INR 60,000),Development Fees(INR 9,000), Admission Fees (INR 10,000), Library-cum Book Bank Fee(INR 6,000),Students' Welfare Sports and Games Fee(INR 4,000), University Students' Development Fees(INR 2,200), Causion Deposit (INR 10,000)(refundable), Admission Kit (INR 1,000) and for TFW(Tuition Fee Waiver) Students, a one time fee of INR 42,700 is required. The subsequent semester fees for Gen/SC/ST/EWS Students is INR 69,500 and for TFW Students, it is INR 9,000. The total amount of semester fees here is about 4 lakh and if you stay in hostels which is only for girls then you have to pay 9100 you will get to know about some scholarships based on your 10th 12th marks or rank I guess

Heritage Institute of Technology an affordable Institute for Btech students.

The college has great faculty members and it provides quality education in affordable price.

Dislikes

Attendance is major let down here like you have to keep atleast 50% to seet in internal.

The total price of the 4 year btech degree is around 4 lakh which is cheaper than the other private colleges. College provides all the scholarship like svmcm,oasis etc. Any other internship program is allowed in the college.

The fees structure is around 4 lakh in 4 years. But from this year it may increase as per the government regulations. If you are domicile of west bengal, you can get Swami Vivekananda scholarship. Campus job is quite down this year due to recession.

So while taking admission, they take almost 75-80k including the 1st sem fees, from the second sem the average fee is 45-47k for every six months/semester. However, you can avail of scholarships outside the college.

Nice college life with some cons

The tuition fee is around Rs 44000 per semester for the first year and increases slightly every year of study. During admission, the student has to pay the first-semester fee and around Rs 30000 extra which includes the Admission Fee, Library Fee, etc and the refundable Security Deposit. Once admission is done, the student has to only pay the Tuition fees and a little Examination fee when filling out the form every semester.
