Placements at the government college of engineering, amravati (gcoea) are reasonably strong, with top companies like capgemini, wipro, and persistent systems recruiting students.
Yes, colleges scholarship department always help to students for getting scholarship.

Dislikes

Hostel facility is some of poor. only first and second year students staying.
Placements must have to improve college uniform is not so good
There is a lot of water issue in our hostel, which is annoying

Honest review of most prestigious considered Govrn. college of Vidarbh

our faculties are may be lazy or something (not all of them) them avoid taking classes more than avoid attending them and this is not such a problem because we get time to do other thing but this also not consistent for all branches .
in entc after 1st year no. of classes reduced ,in cs people hardly go to college,but in it it is very much opposite the have assignments seminars presentation every now and them

Dislikes

infrasrtucture was bad for 1 st year civil and electrical but now they are inproving it rappidly not such big deal,still not good infra compare to private colleges
not every one get hostel mainly boy only 10 to 12 student get hostel based on marks and CASTE but fee is 100 around to 500 PER YEAR which is less so the all collectively maintain it
main concern about college is BACKLOGS specialy in Entc(don't go for ENTC) in m1 there where 218 student appered for BACKLOG EXAM and 200 failed again (giving tough competition to UPSE)

Placement Experience:

here comes slightly better part of college soo pplacement not good but not bad also compare to private colleges and most of the students used to get placed after covid but now there are less placements but thi year market of job itself is very low so no colleges issue

large enough campus providing scope for better developments in future.

Placement Experience:

the institute provides placements to students as per inatutute's 'one student one company' policy. so as to ensure every student would get placed. students become eligible for placements from 7th semester. the highest on campus placement package was 16Lpa. with average package of 4.5 Lpa. After completing my degree iam planning to apper for the GATE exam and try for the best on campus placements.

Pros and cons of GCOEA

Likes

The greenery of the college is very good inside the college
The labs are good to practice the practical
The library is very good to study and the books

Dislikes

The canteen which is not maintained very well
The infrastructure of the college is not good
The college not having the scope for the sport

Placement Experience:

In the eighth and the seventh semester student are eligible for the placement. Many large companies come to hire like Samsung with good package almost 60% student get placed from the my branch. My plans to post graduate.

Likes

College has big surrounding. The grrenary in the college looks good.
College has big library which is available fir all students.
New labs, they contain new equipment and computers.

Dislikes

Academic can be improved by taking the sugesstions from students
Infrastructure. It has old construction.
Placement. Average package and number of company should increase

Yes there placement drives in the college. Students who are enrolled for the final year are eligible for the campus drives. Average package of the college is 4.5 lakh. Many company come here through out the year. Some company's are core company and some are IT company.

Good college if you are not dependent on college

Likes

Faculty support and teachers and campus.
Programs campus greenary Help from teachers.
Ground space ,new tech, campus greenery.

Dislikes

Syllabus Syllabus is old and outdated.
Internship support is weak and not that cooperative.
Management is too slow to implement.

Placement Experience:

College placement is on average 20-50 companies will visit the campus from the 7th semester the placement starts generally TCS craves infotech and ibm persistence company visited this year in our branch approx 40-70 percent is getting placed. My plan after college is good to get a job and then higher studies after some year of work now a year highest package has dropped to 1500000 and the average is 400000 as observed till now this year. The company mostly offers packages between 3-4.5 LPA.

Generally from the 7th semester, you are eligible for the college placement. There are many companies visiting the college. The placement is quite good as per the other colleges. The highest offer was around 14.5 lpa.

College also support students startup and also provide fund and also have club fir startups
There are no such major attendence issu in college

College do not provide hostel to everyone
There are many departments in Maine building
Labs components always do not work properly

Placement Experience:

In the 7th sem students are eligible for campus placement. TCS, Cognizant, Capgemini, Wipro, Elastic Run, tech Mahendra, Amazon, and so many companies come. The average package is about 4LPA and the highest package is about 20LPA. 70-80% of students are placed in campus placement.

Good College with opportunities to grow, give ample time to explore your interest and hobby, busy schedule and happening environment, Great Atmosphere with good city vibes, College is located at good area with good connectivity of trains and buses, only demerit is Girls restriction after 7:30 pm from Hostel
