Likes

our faculties are may be lazy or something (not all of them) them avoid taking classes more than avoid attending them and this is not such a problem because we get time to do other thing but this also not consistent for all branches .
in entc after 1st year no. of classes reduced ,in cs people hardly go to college,but in it it is very much opposite the have assignments seminars presentation every now and them

Dislikes

infrasrtucture was bad for 1 st year civil and electrical but now they are inproving it rappidly not such big deal,still not good infra compare to private colleges
not every one get hostel mainly boy only 10 to 12 student get hostel based on marks and CASTE but fee is 100 around to 500 PER YEAR which is less so the all collectively maintain it
main concern about college is BACKLOGS specialy in Entc(don't go for ENTC) in m1 there where 218 student appered for BACKLOG EXAM and 200 failed again (giving tough competition to UPSE)

exam are very hard (some times),specially in second year ,and no use in realworld you will study them for the sake of passing exams,timing of exam are worst who goot backlog because it may happen that backlog exam and current sem exam on same date and just 1 hr gap between them and this isn't even rare i myself given this type of exam 2 to 3 time

here comes slightly better part of college soo pplacement not good but not bad also compare to private colleges and most of the students used to get placed after covid but now there are less placements but thi year market of job itself is very low so no colleges issue

Fees and Financial Aid

government provide schoarships to category students and ews students but even then fees are very high compare to other goverment colleges 45000 for obc ,vjnt,pwd 5000 for sc/st,7500 for ews and 85000 for general

Campus Life

there two there major thing happens every year like zenith , prajwalan,kct (kalpana chawla trophy) there are good but not the best but mproving year by year it also depends on students how good it will be after all it's for the students by the students events

Admission

admission is taken by the marks scored in mhcet ,jee mains exam resservation is provided to sc st obc vjnt general female admission process consist of very tiring and document demand and non co operating staff

Faculty

it is literally bad dont expect you can learn from sub teacher and pass the exam you have to do self study , chatgpt ,youtube and even one ,two even three books for passing only one subject(specifically in ENTC)

Interview Experience

No there is direct admission through mht cet and jee main score but mht cet is more prefferable because there are seat 75% reservation for cet or may be even more for home university student from same university

Course Curriculum Overview:

The part of the curriculum that inspired me to take up this course is definitely applied mathematics as engineering has a lot of math integrated in it and helps the student to improve his/her logic and problem solving skills which are very important in today's job market. Some areas where I'd like the syllabus to improve are NEP related subjects like PPS, Indian Knowledge System etc. These courses are not related to the major but are included because of the New Education Policy(NEP). I feel that most of these courses are a complete waste of time and can be replaced by better courses.

i got 97.43percentile in MHT CET i have more college options in other locations like pune,Mumbai,sangli etc Other Colleges like coep,pict,etc are very good but i get the lower branch in top instute. Mht-Cet is the entrance exam through which we can get admission in this college. The cut-off is different for various categories.For CSE branch the cut-off of OBC students is 96%tile and for OPEN it is upto 97- 98%tile. Pros and cons of GCOEA

For taking admission in the Government Colleges of Maharashtra every student should have to give the MHTCET exam which are Conducted after 12 Board exmination . Students should have give MHTCET Exam in PCM (Physiscs, Chemistery,Maths) group. I have found application form in MHTCET website, where all details were given. As i am belong to Reserve Category and with additional and my father was Ex- Army person, which made my increase my chances to take admission in Government college .
