Scholarship has been given by the ts government for fee reimbursement for the students as well as separate 5000 and nsp well given the 10k to merit students.
The faculty with good knowledge helps us to improve in our education
Placements are good in campus, well infrastructure and good modies nature in campus, and course are cse, ce, mech, eee, it, ds, aiml, etc

Dislikes

Dislike the faculty of core department.they fail to provide the more information about subject
We have no hostels around the college as we have to travel

Watchmen I don't like them most of the time they keep shouting on students it should be changed and in college

Placement Experience:

There will be 98.9 % placements provided according to the management they'll divide the people into three batches . And they provide placement opportunities accordingly wrt their batches. If I would not get the placement I'll go with my projects which I have already done and trying to do them so I'll get opportunity outside too .

Our campus have beautiful greenery with nice gardens and tress I will get a relaxing feel in college.
Our faculty explanation and interaction with students is very good
Few events conducted are technical which are helpful for us

Dislikes

Security guards in our college show attitude alot they won't respect students
Our canteen is very small and it is seperated for girls and boys
Cultural Events in our college are very less compared to other colleges

Placement Experience:

We have good companies and placements in my college my college highest package is 54LPA she got placed in Google . This is one of the reason for choosing this college average package is 6LPA . We have placement training too in our college I am in product batch

First of all when we talk about gokaraju rangaraju college it is unique in structure
Labs were good and we can gain practical knowledge
College atmosphere and faculty is helpful if you want to do anything new

Dislikes

They will take the phones if they found in our hands
Not conducting trips and field visits etc
Not providing holidays where as other colleges provide give

Placement Experience:

Maximum the students who are pursuing third year of graduation are eligible for campus placements and also the highest package is 25lpa per annum and also some students got off campus placements also ..

Gokaraju rangaraju dark truth about the college.

Likes

Open theatre is the best thing I love the most in the college
Faculty relation with students is really good
Canteen is also a place which I like the most.

Dislikes

Security guards are the most annoying people in the whole campus.
Washrooms are worst than ever. There is no neatness nor maintenance.
College rules are very very hectic than comparing to other colleges.

Placement Experience:

Google is one of the recruiter for our college and amazon ,tcs , wipro and top companies like this also visit our college regularly for recruitment and students above 7.5 cgpa are eligible for standing in placements. Highest package is 54lpa in my campus. I will prepare for government job after my graduation .

College which you can't enjoy

Likes

Good campus with some trees. I like the trees in my college, in ground , on ramp and everywhere
Faculty is very Good. They are taking care of us. Doubts are solved by them very well

Dislikes

Management I don't like. They are no any big events in our college
Jeans are not allowed in college, they stop at the main gate

Placement Experience:

Placements in our college are now very bad . I asked many of my seniors, this year they are very very bad. They are saying that most of them are even not placed and who are placed are around 5 LPA except few students. But this year highest package was 43 LPA for 2-4 students.

Faculty who are focused on students , once you ask doubts to them. They focus on you.
Good Laboratories. Even all my programming labs are in AC.

Dislikes

Very Strict Security Team. Can't use mobiles in college except during payments
We had to walk through the ramp to reach the college.

Placement Experience:

during past years, the placements are very fine and now they are decreased. but still placements are running my college , now according to my seniors , the average package was around 4.5 LPA. most of companies are coming and selecting very few students and providing the placements. highest package on campus was by amazon(43 LPA)

one of the thing i like about this college is the Infrastructure is unique
And its not like other campuses which ate liek apartment blocks
And also about the placement they are veru organized and fully strict other than normal academic classes

Dislikes

The one thing i hate about the college is the slope that we have to walk to reach to our respective blocks
As i come by auto and busses i hate that i have to climb the slope every day
And sbout other things the security all spread all over the campus and the restrictions re compekteky irrelevant

The greenery in the college is very nicely maintained
Good training and placement cell for DSA preparation
Have a good clubs in technical manner they are AAC , FSW ,CSI .

Dislikes

Faculty is not enough for all the subjects
Semester exams are too easy. Even one week preparation can score good marks
Library not having good books which are highly preferred.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Mostly in college the use old methods of teaching these can be improve a lot . Now they are using only projector system but not very much effective. Where we have two semester exams in every sem we have two mid exams

GRIET Hyderabad has been ranked 172 in the Engineering category in NIRF by MHRD. College regularly organises FDP for the students of different departments to provide them with better knowledge. GRIET also provides consultancy to the Government and industries through R & D centres. The faculties are highly educated with good academic backgrounds.

Courses:

GRIET offers B.Tech in degree Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Electronics and Communications Engineering (ECE), Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE), Civil Engineering (CE), Information Technology (IT), Mechanical Engineering (ME), computer science & Business system and CSE.
M.Tech degree is offered in design for manufacturing, power electronics, VLSI, Computer science & engineering, structural engineering and data science.

Admissions:

70% of the seats in B.Tech are allotted on merit basis while remaining seats are allotted to the management/NRI candidates.
Admission is given to any Engineering college in Andhra Pradesh through a common entrance test (EAMCET). Tuition fees for 1 year of B.Tech programme are 1.22 lakhs.
For admission in M.Tech programmes, candidates must have a B.E. or B.Tech degree with minimum 55% aggregate and a valid score of GATE or PGECET.
Total tuition fees for the M.Tech programme is 1.14 lakh.

Infrastructure:

GRIET campus comprises a huge library, laboratories, water plant, solar water plant, canteen, classrooms and sports area. Computer labs are equipped with highly advanced software.

Placements:

The previous year, a total of 834 students from all the departments got placement from the college.
More than 100 students were placed with CTC above 6 lakh.
Famous companies which recruited the students of GRIET were Microsoft, Amazon, TCS, Infosys, Capgemini, CISCO, Byju’s and many more. Highest salary package received by the students of GRIET was 41.6 lakh.

Many events are organised at the college like Spirals, Spices, X-Kernel, Quizzicals, Rhythms, Pragnya, PULSE, etc. GRIET has organised Hackathon Competition in association with Technology & innovation cell to inculcate the values of innovations and to promote technological advances. There are also various clubs that students can take part in like Gaming Club, and Robotic club.
