The admission was through filling the online application form in which we have to write our scores obtained in NEET. The merit list is then released by the college and the shortlisted candidates were called in for the counseling.
The university offers UG and PG level courses. For the students who want to pursue a career in medical and get admission in MBBS, they need to have an aggregate of 45% in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Then pass with a valid score in NEET UG conducted by CBSE.
You need to pass class 12th board exam and score the desired marks. Along with that you also need to score the cut-off marks in NEET or PMET (Punjab's state medical entrance test). If you have cleared either of the entrance exam, you will be called for counselling based on merit.
I chose this college to be a professional and fluent in my field. I heard a lot about this college, I knew how hard it was to even crack the entrance. It's the epitome of qualified doctory and research .
I chose this college because it is one the top ranked medical colleges. I always wanted to become a doctor but i couldn't score a top rank. But this college doesn't make me feel less than anyone. The college curriculum is exactly the same like those of government college. The facilities provided by our college are awesome.
First I filled out this college prospectus in September, and in October they called us for counseling. They make a list based on our marks in the medical field, and then they ask you for a field of interest.
The college infrastructure is very nice and huge. It has all facilities needed to give excellent training to the students. The hostel is kept well with good food to eat and the extra curricular is looked after too.
You must have had given the NEET exam which is conducted by Central Government in order to be eligible for applying to this college. You need to have qualified 10+2 (or equivalent) from a recognized board with at least 50% marks.
I applied to Dayanand Medical College and Hospital on the basis of my 12th mark. They have a cutoff percentage of 50% marks. Further, my college is accepted my application because I had good marks in NEET which is required for this college.
The college holds recognition from Medical Council of India and affiliation from Baba Farid University of Health Sciences.The institute has not only excelled on the academic front but has also gained appreciation and recognition for its services in the tertiary sector.
