Course Curriculum Overview

The examination is conducted annually in between they also provide a reading break. The course curriculum is vast but it places much more focus on theoretical learning and less on research and practice. It is a five-year-long course.

Placement Experience

The college guarantees 100% placement. We also have to complete our mandatory internship in MBBS. The salary provided for the same is â‚¹7000 per month. The working conditions were also good and we had to work for 7-8 hours a day.

College Events

Events would make the best memories. The college celebrated each and every event will full enthusiasm and spirit. The college organises blood donation camps, annual meet, a cultural festival in February, sports event in August, workshops on latest medical topics etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees structure is quite expensive. The total fees for MBBS were 2.69 Lakhs. The placements opportunities are nice and even internships provided are good. The professors also support us if you want to build your own start-up/business.

Campus Life

The infrastructure of the college is pretty nice. The extracurricular activities are good. The college encourages us to participate in various competitions and workshops. The university conducts tournaments with other colleges and sports meet is organised monthly.

Admission

The university offers UG and PG level courses. For the students who want to pursue a career in medical and get admission in MBBS, they need to have an aggregate of 45% in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Then pass with a valid score in NEET UG conducted by CBSE.

Faculty

The faculty's teaching methods are good. They provide with assignments, projects and in-class activity sessions for us to focus well and understand better. They are also very knowledgeable and are experienced educators. They take part in events and help us in organising them as well.

Yes my engineering college provide placement to students many companies visited this year as intern for third year student like visa, samsungand many more .one has to be competitive enough for scoring and clearing all the round and to get internship as well as placement.

Internships at LPU

Placement Experience:

I exactly don't know but after 4 th or 5 th students are eligible for internship and placements. Generally in 7th semester 90 percent students grab their internship. Many companies visit on campus placement like Capgemini, Amazon, Infosys, TCS, Microsoft and many more. Highest package offered is 64 LPA by Microsoft and lowest was 4 LPA. Almost 90 percent students get placed by 8th semister. I also want to go to a MAANG company after getting my degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the course curriculam of LPU is structured in a way that cover basic theoritical concepts, but in many cases it does not feel very relevant to current company requirements. Course structure looks atractive on paper but in reality its of basic type without practical information. They mention big words like cloud, Database but in reality they teach only theoritical concepts not practical concepts.

LPU through a hostelers lens

Placement Experience:

From sixth semester onwards the students become eligible for college placement. Companies such as Tcs, corizo, wipro visit for placements , highest packages reach around 1 cr and average is about 10 to 15 lac for students with good scores

A Comprehensive Review on College Life, Academics and Opportunities

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities provided are moderate in compariosan to other colleges and they are failry good in comaprison to the private unis.Most of the students based on their academics and skills become eligible for placements in their 5th semester.Both MNCs and startups visit the college and the average package ranges form 8-10 lpa and highest package can touch crores.The percentage of student getting placed is aslo good though i dont lnow the exact statistics. My plan is to go for placements during and after my degree.

Four Years of Growth , Grit and Glory

Placement Experience:

In Chandigarh University you are being elligible to sit in the placement from the end of the 6th semester . A large no. of companies visit the unversity daily for all type of departments talking about my department , companies like Zopasmart , JTG , EY , JP Morgan , TCS , Cognizant , Deloite and many other companies came for the college comapnies with ann average comapny selected upto 10 -12 students . Till now the highest package offered is 37 LPA for the role of software developer . Talking about the no. of students placed from the total students in the batch i would say less then 30% percent of the total students have been placed from the university campus placements till now . Curently i am also focusing on the campus placements to get a start to know more about the corporate world , If i am unable to get a campus placement the i ll go for offline interviews and spends 4 to 5 years in the field after that i ll start my own buisness .

From 6th semester a student is eligible for the placements, companies like TAFE, CLASS, Mahindra and Mahindra and many others come for campus placements. The average package is of 5-6 lacs and the highest package, according to me was gone for john deere company at the price of 15 lacs per annum. The students have 80-90% chances of getting placements. I personally want to pursue my higher studies and work on my future preneurs.

Placement Experience:

many students from our college have cleared all sorts of central defence services, exams and army exams. In addition to that where the students have become great litigation, lawyers and judges. Placements are also given by the College who want to work as a corporate lawyer. Every year, various renowned companies come to the college for Hiring students. My plan is to prepare for civil exams and get a job as a government official
