Course Curriculum Overview
The course offers many specialisations to choose from. The exams are taken semester wise. We have practical sessions, internals, assignment, cases, end term paper etc. The course is good and focuses more on diseases and treatment part. You need to study with full concentration.
Placement Experience
The college provides good placement opportunities. As after completing MD, you can work in a medical college, private hospital, as a teaching faculty in order to gain more experience or even start your own clinic. The college supports us if we want to have our own startup.
College Events
These were the most special days of our college life. The college committee organised various events, like cultural fest, inter-college sports competition, annual fiesta etc. We had the most fun during the sports events where we got to play many games. The college also organised various seminars and conferences.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees are quite expensive for various programs. For MD the fees for three years is ?10.57 Lakhs. The college also has scholarships. The college provides us with a good education facility and also training is provided before going for a placement.
Campus Life
The college has good infrastructure, air-conditioned classrooms, a well- equipped library, multipurpose halls, auditorium, sports room, Wi-Fi etc. Though the hostel is at a distance of 1.5 km from campus, they also provide with transportation facility. The labs are equipped with the latest devices and tools.
Admission
MD is a PG level course. DMCH offers specialisation in Biochemistry, Physiology, Pathology, Pharmacology, Medicine, Microbiology, Dermatology, Psychiatry, etc with MD. You need to have completed MBBS from any recognised university with an internship certificate.
Faculty
The faculty are really good and have completed their PG degree. They are always supportive and are updated with the latest technology. The ratio of faculty to students is 1:10. The faculty uses various methods to teach and make the sessions more interesting.
