Experiences of medical student

Likes

The infrastructure is almost good and so many qualified doctors and well and capable professors are present.And also gives importance to all activities including varies club formations and encouraging us to take active participation
Security wise the best college. They monitor us with 24 hr surveillance using using many cameras in each and every corner hence we will feel safe .
Good hygiene practice is seen ,They take full care about whole campus by that creating healthy and joyfull environment

Dislikes

So much stress .Mostly we need to present seminar all the day
Food is not that good ,and they won't care about that even though how many times we inform
No holidays at all and you About attendance they are very strict

Course Curriculum Overview:

The one regretting and irritating task is presenting seminars most of the time so that all students won't read or learn the topic .when teachers teach them we will get the brief idea. The used to conduct exams frequently Formative assessments monthly twice each subject and Internal assessments with gap of 3 months .

Medical college ups and downs journey

Likes

Mess , ground and hostel facilities should be improved
Actually good..But should be improved and expertised
Mentee and mentorship is obviously good .Teaching skills are also good

Dislikes

No friendly ragging and less interaction between juniors amd seniors
Rules are followed strictly and strict management
Boys and girls should not roam combinedly

Good curriculum. Good application . Postings part should be improved. Not more difficulty and postings part should be improved which would be more helpful to the students and make the students good in academics and clinicals.

Likes

Communication among the students and doctors is a little easier
Social interaction is pretty good and can experience good laboratory facilities and skills lab.
Transportation and security for women are super and very good Library is present

Dislikes

Too many rules and restrictions for a student to go outside
Hostel fees is a lot higher and it's better to decrease the fees
Food is not palatable all the days and it should be improved for a person to be healthy

Placement Experience:

Once you graduated from this college I think it's good that you can get to do practice on your own or work in any hospital. The package may vary based on the path you choose. Hopefully I can get post graduation.

BEST COLLEGE IN ANDHRA PRADESH

Likes

The college atmosphere is very good. It's grenary is pleasant.
All the events are conducted by the college management very nice
Infrastructure of the college is unbeatable by any other medical college in A. P

Dislikes

The rules are very strict. Highly expensive hostels.
Patient Exposure to the patient is less compare to government college
Events are not conducted in well manner.

Course Curriculum Overview:

1)CBME (competency based medical eduction) have been implemented by NMC on 2018 batch onwards. 2)I think this curriculum is very useful to every medical students by having small group discussions (SGD), seminars, Teaching lectures, Self directed learnings(SDL) etc these are included in the CBME pattern. 3) these compitencies are very nice 4)The exams timings are gap of every 3 months.level is moderate.

In my clg library is very good.along with that the professors are very nice with us and they teach us everything.they teach every thing efficiently.and they show us videos and cases for better learning.they explain evaru case Directly infront of the
We have good faculty and they help us in many ways.
We have many other activities like games,dance music classes and other clubs such asa green club,yoga club.and good nature

Dislikes

Hostel fees is too high in this clg and the patients are less to see many cases
Clg is very strict in many aspects like attendance.and in many ways.they don't conduct that many programmes
There is no free outing everyday. we have to take so many permissions for that

The course curriculum is good actually.we have cbme curriculum at present and it is our first batch to write next exam.we don't have any clarity about this exam.but we are preparing for that.exams are conducted once in a month

Aspects I appreciate regarding college is security rules which makes us feel comfortable and secure around college areas . Coming to college life here it is pretty good and with the help of clubs there is interaction.
Games ...our college conducts several game league between tha batches and among the batches .this inturn helps us in increasing social interaction between seniors and juniors
Coming to studies yeah the classroom teaching is pretty good .in postings we the student have the opportunity for being included in performing minor care practices.

Dislikes

Things I disliked are outing days ae limited . In week days we can go for out even If it is needed
If we take home permission and went the we should not come to hostel on same day this is worst rule
Food it is getting comparatively lesser taste than before day by day

Course Curriculum Overview:

Aspects the encouraged me to take this course is my own interest regarding this . I like this and I want to clear the exams and be agood doctor. The things which prepared us to the real world is our hard work .curriculum play about may be of 20 % in this. Areas for improvement in curriculum are just remove seminars there is no use just time waste . U can keep an exam on a day for that purpose students will study .in reality no body is preparing for seminar. Frequency and timing of exams are tolerable.

My journey towards ASRAMS.

Likes

The security inside the college premises is really appreciative. Girls can roam safely at nights without any fear.
There is a good opportunity for a social interactions. Seminars are conducted on a regular basis in order to decrease stage fear.
There are several labs and enough clinical exposure.

Dislikes

Although the security is good sometimes it gets too overwhelming.
Outing timings are restricted for girls although it is not same for boys.
Hostel food is not that worthy of the fee that we are paying.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Our curriculum is CBME based. Various techniques like Small group discussions, self directed learning and seminars are conducted. Our curriculum encourages students to learn in new methods like article citations etc. Overall at the end of the year the syllabus is covered time to time.
