Likes

Multiple clubs exist and events are conducted from time to time which provide ample recreation
Large campus grounds, sports courts which encourage physical activity
Hostel accommodation is good with well maintained rooms and gym

Dislikes

Strict rules and security which limit interaction among batches
Patient load is less compared to general district hospitals
Students are not allowed to bring electronic devices into classroom but teaching is dependent on smart devices.

Internships Opportunities:

Internship is offered by the college itself, an year long internship with a stipend of 60,000 per annuum is offered. Night duties are also included. Clinical rotations among various departments lasting from 2 weeks to 4 weeks in each department

About Asram medical college

Likes

excellent cricket ground and all sports are good in this college
Good lecture gallery and have big screen and completely ac
And library is vast and vast books collection

Dislikes

Very strict rules and serious action will be taken if any
Gender barrier is too high in this college
Outings is like in schooling and has time limit that too short time

Internships Opportunities:

Internship is for every one in the college in final year about 6 months and get there certificate in graduation dayafter there is chace to opt ingovt hospitals as medical officer or to write pg entrance and get into pg coarse

Likes

the peaceful climate and surroundings of the college is the first thing i like in the campus
the architecture and the maintainance of the hostel and college premises
faculty and their teaching methods are always my favourite every professor has a unique way of teaching

Dislikes

the security in the college overreact to everthing everytime they see a student doing something
has to take so many permissions from many professors to do anything
routine food everyweek in the college mess. they repeat the same menu everyweek

Internships Opportunities:

there is a compulsory internship programme in the college students must complete their 1 year of internship we have to attend the 1 year clinical hours to complete the internship and get our certificats

Good to join in ASRAMS

Likes

Infrastructure was very good and is very pleasant environment in the college
Greenery is all around and is very beautiful
Good hostels and safe hostels for both boys and girls

Dislikes

More strict rules which will irritate both parents and also stidents
More security measures which are not required
Mess food is not that good and we cant change the menu as we want

Internships Opportunities:

We have a compulsory rotatory internship program in our college which each and every student have to complete after completing and clearing their exams in the MBBS for all the 19 subjects. In the internship we will be given stipends but they are too less for our needs.

My view of the college

Likes

The library is really good. It is equipped with all the reference books for all subjects and is very spacious and is open 24/7 except on few holidays where in it will be closed by 21 00. It has magazines, self help books and novels also.
The infrastructure is good in the campus and it is easily accessible.
Studies wise it is better than other medical colleges of AP

Dislikes

The amount of security restrictions both in the campus and hostel
If you are a hosteller you have to pay the mess fee irrespective of eating there. We have to pay the current bill additionally. Only one type of room will be allocated for the whole batch.
We have to acquire a lot many permissions before bringing our vehicle on the campus grounds

Internships Opportunities:

We have to do a mandatory internship following the completion of the four and half year course. During the internship we will be posted for all the departments in the hospital. There is plenty of opportunities to work as a tutor after the completion of internship.

Likes

Communication among the students and doctors is a little easier
Social interaction is pretty good and can experience good laboratory facilities and skills lab.
Transportation and security for women are super and very good Library is present

Dislikes

Too many rules and restrictions for a student to go outside
Hostel fees is a lot higher and it's better to decrease the fees
Food is not palatable all the days and it should be improved for a person to be healthy

Internships Opportunities:

Internship will be in the same college for any medical College. Work shifts will be assigned accordingly for every intern based on the department they are in. They will provide very less salary which can be increased

Likes

Aspects I appreciate regarding college is security rules which makes us feel comfortable and secure around college areas . Coming to college life here it is pretty good and with the help of clubs there is interaction.
Games ...our college conducts several game league between tha batches and among the batches .this inturn helps us in increasing social interaction between seniors and juniors
Coming to studies yeah the classroom teaching is pretty good .in postings we the student have the opportunity for being included in performing minor care practices.

Dislikes

Things I disliked are outing days ae limited . In week days we can go for out even If it is needed
If we take home permission and went the we should not come to hostel on same day this is worst rule
Food it is getting comparatively lesser taste than before day by day

Internships Opportunities:

I'm mbbs students so here companies don't offer any jobs . But in our 5th year we do internship with stipend 10000.. regarding projects we don't do much as in engeneering colleges so we do some in our 1st and 2 nd year mbbs life .regarding clarifying the outcomes we discuss the doubts among us .If the thing is not solved the we do go to the professors and yeah they will clarify . In internship we do posting in all departments . We got to learn so much new stuff which will help us in our future.thats great right.

Likes

Good machinery and infra structure and also good library to study which is definitely helpful for ur study purpose.
Security is very good and u can live without fear of any violence .and girls are more than boys as obviously girls chose more bipc and became doctor
Theory teaching is good and some are very approachable.

Dislikes

There is no freedom to interact with people ..like girls can't openly discuss with boys
There are strict rules of no interaction between seniors and juniors
U have to very patient to be in this college as some rules are very insensible

Internships Opportunities:

Actually in mbbs it is compulsory to do internship in ur college to complete ur course .so we work in our hospital called asram hospital and we will get a stipend of 5thousand per month but according to government,we should get 25 thousand per month but they won't give that much of stipend for u

Forensic classes, anatomy discection hall

Dislikes

Lots of security guards for no reason, being answerable to security guard people but not any actual faculty
No freedom of speech, freedom to roam in the campus,

Internships Opportunities:

There is no such thing as internship oppurtunity. We as medical students, have to work for 1 year in our college, doing nearly 120 hours per week of work by getting a salary of 10,000/- per month! It is totally unfair.

Alluri sitaramaraju academy of medical: inside and outside

Likes

Library: the college has a centralized AC accomodating 1000 students with a separate UG and PG reading areas.
Cricket ground: it has a well maintained cricket ground where alot of inter college medical tournaments are conducted.
Security: providing us with the security.

Dislikes

Fests are conducted only once in an year.
Interaction between seniors and juniors is lacking
Hostel fess is very high and the quality of food can be improved

Internships Opportunities:

The hospital itself takes their own students after their MBBS. Altough alot of students prefer PG after completing their mbbs. We can apply as a junior doctor in various institutes and also an medical officer
